Saving my broken Girl
Today, the weight of my loneliness and despair finally crushed me, and I dropped to my knees, tears falling down onto the cold, unforgiving pavement, the rain pouring down on me like a wave that keeps me under with no air left.
"Mother, you failed me," I choked out between sobs, my voice filled with anguish. "You left me with no one to love, no one to love me. You abandoned me, Mother. Why? Why did you have to leave me?" My voice trembled with the pain of abandonment. "My voice is silent, and yours is the only one I keep hearing, repeating 'I love you.'"
