Their Beautiful Madness
Electricity bolts through me at his touch, every single nerve just woke up screaming his name.
He looks up at me, water droplets slipping down his temples, his black hair wet and messy, falling over his forehead in a way that makes me ache to push it back.
"You're beautiful," he murmurs. "And so fucking sexy."
Beautiful. No one's ever called me that, not sincerely. And definitely not in the same sentence as sexy. My heart stutters like it doesn't know how to handle both at once.
"Thank you," I say, my voice shakier than I'd like. "You're... sexy too."
