I needed the person who knew the truth to remind me why I was doing this. I reached her door and pushed it open—the hinges creaked, the sound echoing in the strangely silent hallway. "Zo? You wouldn't believe the day I’ve had. Kian and I—" I stopped mid-sentence. Zoey wasn't sitting at her laptop. She wasn't digging through files or looking for a lead on my mother. She was pacing the narrow strip of rug in her living room, her movements frantic and jagged, her curls a wild, frizzy mess. She was chewing on her thumbnail so hard I thought she might draw blood. She didn't even look up when I walked in; she just kept pacing, her breath coming in short, shallow bursts.

Adriana wasted no time in pulling the door shut, the soft click of the latch feeling final. Right downstairs, Zoey squeezed between Hardin and Tessa on the couch, the three of them leaning toward the TV, even though the show playing was only half-watched. “You must have been so lonely eating without us,” Hardin said, his small brows knitting together with concern as he glanced at Zoey. Zoey gave a dramatic sigh. “I was. But…” Her face brightened as if she’d been holding onto a juicy secret. “Something really thrilling happened on Thursday.”

Quinn asked him. “I thought she told you, she called me and told me to make sure Asher came to the party. And said make sure he brought his sister and that new girl.. what’s her name? The fucking hot one. The one you can’t stand man, that trashed your Hummer.” Chase snickered at that. “Hold on.” Quinn was confused. What was Finely playing at? “She called you and told you to make sure Asher came? And Em?” “Yeah, yeah Em!” Chase snapped his fingers. “Emerson! Damn that girl is something else. Have y’all seen that ass?”

All I can remember is that Abigail made me run for that contraceptive that I saw on the floor of my room. It was a month before I got up the courage to face her and ask. I know everything. I also came to my senses and remembered what happened, but she kept on denying it. So I didn't push anymore. But after that day, I didn't recognize myself anymore. I have always been at her house, which I enjoy. "Abigail is still at school. She's going home for sure." Jack patted me on the shoulder. I kept looking at him. "Chase her back, Troy. You will feel the real pleasure in her. Go, you have a lot of enemies." He said this while walking away from me.

Zenith felt her face. Ellie gave her a puzzle look ." Huh" she looked ahead and smiled ." You have your opportunity, Chase is in the field with his friends". Zenith looked at her and fellowed her gaze , staring at Chase a black haired guy with an ocean blue eyes that makes him unique ,he has an innocent look that one could hardly tell he is a play boy, seeing him chatting with his friends Zenith sighed and looked away . "That's your time to confront him". " I don't know". Zenith hissed.

Jason Oswald’s POV That night I drove my car alone. All I wanted at that moment was to see Lizzy immediately and bring her back to my house. I just wanted to be with her forever, even though I was still waiting for the right time to confess everything to my parents. Why did you leave, Lizzy? Did I offend you? Can’t you wait a little longer with me? Damn! Everything was getting complicated and messy. Moments later, the car I was driving stopped right in front of the entrance of her apartment. After getting out of the car, I observed the window of her room on the third floor. The room lights weren’t on.

The door bursts open and Zoey walks in. She arch her brows at Stacey's zombie like figure and down to the phone she was gripping tightly. "Stacey!" She calls out and fold her arms. Stacey jerks out of her thoughts to stare at her. "You look like you've seen a ghost. Wayne finally agreed to date you huh?" She taunted. Stacey groans and push to her feet. "Zoey, could you stop it already!. I'm not in for your joshing right now!" She blurts out and drops the phone on the bed. Zoey clucks her tongue.
