VR GAMES CHAPTER 1 ETHAN I shouldn’t have clicked it. That’s the first thought rattling in my skull as the ad flashes on my monitor again, a dark banner pulsing with crimson light: “Elysium VR – Adult Expansion Module. Full Immersion. No Boundaries.” My fingers twitch on the mouse. I should close it, clear my history, pretend I never saw it. Instead, I whisper under my breath, “Screw it,” and click buy now.

Technology has grown to the point, that the internet has changed a standard site to become its own virtual world. If you know the name of a website, you can just think of it and your implant will do the rest. It will bring your consciousness to the virtual world, where you’ll have an A.I to act as your guide for whatever you will need. This was not his first time entering the virtual world, but it is his first time entering the virtual world for selling military equipment. It was an online black market.
