Stupid fan! “Six, why are you here?” the guy asked. His number one fan was right about him being Spanish. “Well, I’m here to get breakfast, but I also wanted to introduce you to someone,” Six replied. “I'm actually meeting someone in your life?” the guy scowled. “Trust me, I'm just as shocked that I’m doing this. Rochelle Solano, meet Five. Five, Rochelle,” Six introduced Prominent, I repeat.. “Really?” I couldn't help but giggle. “I feel like I’m missing something here,” Five admitted.

“Walk straight ahead. There’s a door right in front of you.” Zoe’s heart leapt to her throat, an eerie sense of unease falling over her. She glanced over her shoulder, realizing an attempt to escape would be futile. The dark was too thick, completely consuming her surroundings. George kept his grip tight on her wrist, marching forward into the pitch black. A crunch echoed in the silence, George’s free hand pushing on a door she couldn’t see, liberating a flush of bright, white light into the dark expanse. Zoe could do nothing but blink, teary eyes striving to adjust.

Tired of pretending the holidays didn’t take every insecurity I owned and amplify it by ten. The worst part was that I didn’t even know what I wanted anymore. Not really. Just that I needed space. Somewhere, I wasn’t being watched. Somewhere, I didn’t feel like a progress report. Somewhere I could exist without explanation. I reached for my phone again. I wasn’t planning anything dramatic. This wasn’t a breakdown. This was a browse. A harmless scroll. Completely reasonable behaviour. I opened a travel app. France appeared almost immediately, as if it had been waiting for me to admit something.

Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused. "Ok, boy. That's enough. However, I actually came here to warn you. You have three supernatural powers which you inherited from me. I am a very great grandma of yours. I'm in the seventeenth line of your family generation. I know you may not understand. But however, your powers are: one-the ability to see ghosts. Two- you have a special word which you can say anytime to get out of trouble but you will later get to know the word as you grow. And three- I wouldn't tell you now. You might disclose it to other people. And like I said, you will get to know it as you grow."

With the way, he was behaving, it seemed as if he suspected we had been set up. Maybe the humans were on to us and decided to feed Timber false information so they could get us. For both our sakes, I hoped that wasn't the case or we were screwed, because it was just Marcus and me. We were strong, but we weren't an army, nor were we invincible.
