LOGINJustin’s POV
My mom turns off her truck's engine at the school park, waiting for me to get out. I don’t want to, I’m having a funky feeling about this school. “Please, Justin get out of my car. You don’t want me to be late for my first day of work.” “I can come to work with you.” “I’m working for you to have a better life and go to a good school like this one.” “I really don’t think changing my school will make it anymore easy for me”. “Yes, it will, Justin. On the bright side, you will be “the new girl”. “I’ve been the new girl all my life”. “Just get the fuck out of my car, I’ve got work to do, remember we need money for the house we are staying in and food to eat. I love you”. I’ve been to four schools all my sixteen years of living on this depressing, fascinating planet and it’s the same as always. Awkward looks from everyone, side muttering, girls giggling at what only fuck knows. I don’t really care, I know how to deal with all sides of a teenager. It’s my superpower. I went straight to the principal's office, it wasn’t hard to find. “Welcome Miss Justin Reyes, this is your home room teacher, Mrs Smith. If you need anything, don’t be a stranger.” “Thank you, ma’am.” I turn to Mrs Smith, she is really beautiful and she smells nice too. “So, Miss Justin Reyes, I hope you’re not the type to parade around the school with bad grades.” She didn’t sound like she was asking a question, and I don’t like to be close to my teachers. Students will think my good grades are coming from their generosity. “It’s Justin, ma’am.” I tell her, trying not to prolong whatever conversation she’s trying to stir up. We got to class, I stood outside for a while as Mrs Smith put the class in order, she’s a disciplinarian I must say. “Please come in.” I walked into the class and stood by her side. It’s the same way and format of introduction at every new school that I have been to. I would be asked to say my name, what I like, and if I’m friendly or not. I would say I’m friendly but will end up with one nosy friend who would backstab me. To my surprise, Mrs Smith did the introduction for me. I guess she thought I wouldn’t want to. “There, go sit close to Arthur, he will help you catch up with us.” I turned to find this fine, good-looking, handsome guy staring at me, but immediately Mrs Smith directed me to the seat beside him, he stared deep into her eyes and she changed my seat. “Or you can meet during lunch break, whatever works for you.” Yeah, I don’t think I would want to sit with him after that. I was walking to the seat I was given, and this guy was still staring at me. Maybe he knows me from somewhere, or do I have something on my face? “You have the most epic green eyes I have ever seen.” I turn to say a pretty girl, I think I just got myself a nosy friend, I’m always nice to them but I keep my distance. “Thanks, I’m Justin.” I tell her, not to be rude. “I heard, I’m Aria.” We stop the conversation. I was trying really hard to focus on what the teacher was saying but the way this guy was looking at me, it was intense. The bell goes off and it’s lunch time. I picked some stuff from the cafeteria and was about to head off to the break room. “Hey Justin, come sit with me.” It’s Aria, she acts differently and is honest but I can’t trust her. “It’s fine Aria, go meet your friends.” “Come on, they wouldn’t even notice that I’m gone, here, let’s sit here.” Aria takes my hand and leads me to an empty table in the break room, and then I overheard some girls talking, definitely about me. “That’s the new girl Arthur was staring at.” “So what? Not like he can just find her attractive on her first day, right?” “Oh don’t worry, he has eyes only for you.” I chuckled and sat down, Aria joined me. “Don’t mind them, that’s what they always do when a new girl comes in. They always try to help us feel belittled.” I laugh at Aria’s statement, she doesn’t seem to like them or even the type to roll with them. Maybe she’s not been nosy. “That’s not a problem for me, I know just how to handle them.” Aria and I kept on having more fun and sensible conversations and I was growing to like her. I think I’ll keep her as a friend. It wouldn’t be that bad. I excuse myself to go to the bathroom for a second. As I was walking down the hall, a huge hand pulled me to a disorganized, small room. “What the fuck?!” Before I could lash out, it was the guy, the one who was intensively staring at me. “You?!” “What do you want? Are you insane? Why the fuck would you draw me like I’m a piece of paper?” “You feel like a piece of paper.” “I’m getting the fuck out of here before I get into trouble.” I try to get out but his strong hand stops the door from opening. I look at him, like, “What the fuck?!” “What’s the name of your pack?” What the fuck does he mean by that? What pack? “What the hell are you talking about? Are you drunk? Or high?” He doesn’t answer me, he just keeps staring at me like the answer was going to pop out of me. “Why the fuck are you looking at me like that?” “You don’t smell like one? Why am I not feeling any connection from you?” “Are you supposed to have a connection? Is this a prank or a joke? Because what the fuck?” I go for the door handle but he yanks me, making me stumble on his hard body. I could feel his body packs, so strong. Someone opens the door of the room and oh fuck. “What the hell is going on here?”Chapter 6 Arthur’s POV We just got home, except for Oliver. He insisted on staying back to make sure those bastards are dead. I go straight to my room because I can’t stop thinking about the vampire and their attacks on werewolves. I just don’t understand. What is really going on with the vampires and their sudden urge for revenge. Tori walks in with a bowl of water and towel. She knees infront of me, takes my hands and starts to clean the blood on it. “You don’t have to do this Tori, I’m fine. The blood isn’t even mine. I’m not hurt.” I complain, but she ignores me. I can see how shaky her hands are. She’s terrified. I did what had to be done. “I’m sorry.” Tori apologize. Here we go again with the fellow feelings. Tori blames herself for my behavior. She thinks I will be as brutal as how my father was, when I become an alpha. “I’m sorry I left you here at such a young age. No child deserves to be deprived of his mother’s love. You don’t deserve it.”
Chapter 5 Arthur’s POV Grabbing my car key and jacket to head out and take care of the vampires, I find Tori standing at the door, her hands folds under her chest like she’s ready to go with me. How did she even know I was going out? And how fast did she get here? “Tori, I don’t need babysitting. I can take care of this. Just go back to bed and rest, do anything other than follow me.” I tell Tori, trying to convince her not to follow me. I’m an independent alpha for fuck sake, not a mummy’s boy. “I’m going with you and that’s it, end of discussion.” She says back to me. I turn to Adrian, he adjusts the collar of his jacket, meaning he’s with her. This is absurd. “Fuck it.” I grumble, walk out of the house without waiting for anyone. We get to the scene to see my pack hunters have tied up the vampires. Their fangs and claws are out, in case the vampires want to try anything stupid. I disgustingly spit on the floor, right infront of one of the vampires. H
Arthur's POV “I’ve missed you so much, Arthur.” Tori hugs me so tight. I do miss her, but not suffocating hugs. I turn to Adrian who is standing behind Tori. “Adrian,” I boldly called him. “Arthur, It’s good to see you after a long time.” Adrian tells me. “I would say the same but I can’t place exactly why you’re here.” I was trying to get them to speak up already, why they are in my territory? Tori senses that, but she always has her way around me. “Don’t be rude, Arthur. Have you been eaten properly? Have you been having enough sleep? You seem kind of stressed.” I roll my eyes and snatch my head back when Tori pull at my cheek, trying to examine every nook and cranny of me. "Scars?!" She gasps. "My baby boy, what have you been doing to yourself?!" I push her hands off me, but gently. I don’t want to see her teary eyes. “I’m fine, mum, you don’t have to worry so much. I’m not a child anymore." She smiles brightly, and I know it's because I just
Arthur’s POV She is definitely a human, she smells nothing like a wolf. My wolf now is unsettled, growling at me. “I can’t feel her wolf.” “That’s because she’s human, dumbshit.” I growl back at my wolf. She’s human, but I’m still drawn to her, she’s my mate. Why in heaven will I be mated to a human? An alpha mated to a human, is this a Joke? “Why the fuck are you staring at me like that?” she blink. She’s so naive, she doesn’t know who I am or what I am. I bet she doesn’t have a clue that she’s in the midst of werewolves. "Nothing," I take a step away from her. "I guess I thought you were someone else." She goes for the door again, but my hand brush again her naked arm, and it's like an electric current zaps through me. I wasn't imagining anything, there is indeed a connection between us. My wolf stirs, confirming what I have feared, even though she is merely human. “MINE!” My wolf said it loud in my head that I became so scared that she may have

Arthur's POV Ainsley pecks my cheeks and walks out of the class, throwing her waist left and right like it’s going to separate from her body. Immediately Ainsley was gone, the bell went off and Mrs Smith walked in. My phone dings, it’s a message from Ainsley telling me she’s in class already. I have delivered all the signs of I don’t care to her, I guess she just plays dumb or she’s actually dumb. Everyone says Ainsley is obsessed with me. It’s the truth, not everyone can resist a hot, handsome, and strong alpha. “Alright, everyone settle down, I know you want to catch up with your friends about the amazing things that happened to you, but the stories can wait. Kingsley, sit down now before I make you.” Mrs Smith is a new teacher and she was appointed to be our home room teacher seeing that she’s the only one who can put the toughest students in their place. Mrs Smith is fond of applauding me for my hard work and good grades. Many of my classmates say she does tha
