Mag-log in"From now on, whenever you call me ‘Daddy’ in public, only you and I will know the true meaning behind it," said Gabriel Bloodfang. Every time I call him Daddy, only the two of us understand the truth hidden behind that word. To the world, I’m just a human girl saved by Alpha Bloodfang. To the Pack, I’m nothing more than a lucky adopted daughter. But to me, Daddy is everything, he’s my first love and my forbidden desire. One look from him makes my blood tremble. One touch from him ignites a fire that no law could ever extinguish.

"Please give me another glass of syrup," I said to the bartender.
I sat on the tall stool right at the bar counter, my fingers tapping lightly against the wooden surface. On both sides, my friends were lost in their own little worlds. They had come in pairs, shamelessly kissing one another. Lips pressed against lips, wandering hands touching without a care for who might be watching. I could only manage an awkward smile, glancing for a moment before quickly turning my face away.
Not long after, the bartender handed me a red syrup garnished with a small slice of orange. I stirred it slowly, staring at the liquid while my mind wandered.
It was my very first time setting foot in a bar. I was already old enough to be called an adult, but all this time Daddy, Gabriel Draven Bloodfang had always forbidden me. His prohibition had been firm, absolute.
And yet somehow, tonight I had let myself be swayed by my friends' insistence. They said I was too boring, too pure, too obedient for a nineteen-year-old girl. So here I was, trying to taste the world Daddy had always kept tightly shut from me.
I exhaled deeply, sipping a little of the syrup that had begun to dilute from the ice cubes. Its sweetness coated my tongue, but honestly, I couldn't enjoy it wholeheartedly.
That was when a stranger approached me. He was tall with broad shoulders, his white shirt unbuttoned at the top two buttons, revealing his tanned skin glistening under the lights. His face wore a confident smile, as if he knew he was catching the attention of many women.
"Hey, sweet thing. All alone?"
I flinched but quickly shook my head. "No. I'm here with my friends."
He glanced briefly at my friends, who were still busy with their partners, then looked back at me with a small grin. "Looks like they're occupied. Why don't you have some fun too?"
I swallowed, lifting my syrup glass slightly. "I already have my drink, and I'm not here to mess around with men."
"Relax. I just want to get to know you. Not every guy here is a jerk," he said with a small chuckle.
"Sorry. I really am just here to keep my friends company, nothing more," I told him.
His expression shifted into disappointment, his brows knitting together. "You don't appreciate my effort, do you? I only wanted to buy you a drink as a way of introduction. That's all."
I fell silent. A pang of guilt struck me. He didn't look dangerous only a little offended. I sighed and finally gave him a small nod.
"All right, just one drink."
His smile returned. He signaled to the bartender, and soon a glass filled with golden liquid was set in front of me. I eyed it warily.
"Go on. Think of it as our introduction," he said.
I wrapped my fingers around the glass. The sharp scent of alcohol stung my nose, making me swallow nervously, but not wanting to offend him, I took a small sip.
The taste was strange bitter, hot, leaving a sharp burn down my throat. I nearly coughed but forced myself to hold it in so I wouldn't look foolish.
"Good, you just need a little time to get used to it," he said.
I forced a faint smile and set the glass back on the counter. But as time passed, my head began to feel light. The music, which had only sounded loud before, now echoed strangely. Neon lights swirled, blurring my vision.
I propped my head on my hand, trying to steady myself. Yet oddly, my body only grew hotter, my heart pounded too fast, and my palms turned clammy. I glanced sideways at the man. His gaze was different now, like he knew exactly what was happening to me.
My head grew heavier, my breath uneven. My eyes burned, as if watery, and when I touched my face, I realized my eyelids were flushing red. My lips felt dry, slightly parted without me realizing it.
The man beside me leaned closer, his fingers sliding onto my thigh exposed by the mini skirt I had worn tonight. I slapped his hand away instantly, my body tensing in reflex.
"Don't touch me!"
He only chuckled low, as if he didn't take my rejection seriously. I pushed myself off the barstool, walking away quickly, desperate to escape. But before I could get far, a group of other men grabbed my arm.
"Come on, join us on the dance floor!" one of them shouted with a loud laugh.
I struggled to break free, but my body felt weightless and unsteady. In an instant, I was already in the middle of their circle. The music pounded, and their bodies swayed around me.
I wanted to run. I wanted to resist. But strangely, my body responded differently my hips moved to the rhythm, my steps carried into a dance I didn't understand.
I bit my lip, feeling control slip away. What was happening to me?
My hair fell loose, covering part of my face. I knew this wasn't me, but my body refused to stop. Cheers erupted around me. Some men clapped, whistled, and moved in closer, circling me on the dance floor.
"Seraphina!" I heard a familiar voice.
I began laughing with my friends, feeling happy, free, and exhilarated. So this was the adult world they always talked about? It felt intoxicatingly thrilling.
"Sera, your father's here," one of my friends said in panic, tapping my shoulder.
I didn't care and kept swaying to the EDM beat.
"Sera, that's your father!" she repeated.
I turned and saw those piercing blue eyes locked on me. I knew he was furious. I knew I had broken his greatest rule.
He stepped forward, and people instinctively cleared a path for him. He walked straight toward me, each stride making me want to vanish.
"Daddy?"
Suddenly my arm was seized in a firm grip. My body jolted, and now I stood face to face with him.
"What are you doing here?"
SERA'S POVI stared at the evening sky that was beginning to turn orange, the same color as when Gabriel first took me for a walk on the beach in Fiji years ago. Time passed so quickly, but every moment felt like it was just yesterday."Do you remember when we first met?" Gabriel asked.I laughed softly. "How could I forget? I was still a child. You came to my uncle's house with an angry face covered in blood. I thought you were a monster.""And now?""Now I know you are a monster. But a monster that I love."Gabriel laughed. "I'm a lucky monster.""We're both lucky."From inside the house, I heard laughter. Lucas and his wife, Elena, were playing with their two year old daughter. Ethan and his partner, a beautiful werewolf named Rhea, were helping prepare dinner. Noah and his wife, Mia, a human who had managed to steal my quietest son's heart, sat in the corner of the living room, talking softly while occasionally laughing."Mom! Dad! Dinner's ready!" Ethan shouted from inside. We st
SERA'S POVWe laughed, joked, and enjoyed the warm evening. I looked at my little family, Gabriel beside me, Lucas who was beginning to show signs of maturity, Ethan who still had his childish enthusiasm, and Noah who was quiet but attentive. They were everything to me. They were the reason I survived through every storm."Mom," Lucas called suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence."Yes, sweetheart?""I want to ask you something."I looked at him, seeing the serious expression on his face. "Of course, son. What is it?"Lucas hesitated for a moment, then spoke. "Do you ever regret it? Marrying Dad? Going through all of this?"The question hung in the air. I could feel all eyes on me, Gabriel beside me, Ethan and Noah across the table. They were all waiting for my answer.I took a deep breath, then smiled. "No, Lucas. I never regretted it. Even in the darkest moments, when I thought I would lose your father forever, I never regretted choosing him."Lucas blinked. "Really? Even though
SERA's PovI was silent. Elder Beatrice's words echoed in my ears. A decades old ban, a law deeply rooted in pack culture, was about to be lifted. I couldn't believe it. I almost couldn't believe it."Are you serious?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper.Elder Beatrice smiled, her eyes sparkling with warmth I rarely saw on the elders' faces. "I'm serious. For years, we have seen the suffering caused by this ancient rule. We saw how Gabriel almost lost you. We saw how true love was destroyed by fear and prejudice. We don't want that to happen again."I felt my chest tighten. For thirteen years, Gabriel and I had to fight against that rule. We had to hide, run, and almost die just because we loved each other. And now, that rule would be abolished. By the elders' own decision."What made you change your minds?" I asked.Elder Beatrice sighed. "We saw you. We saw how you fought for your children. How you survived even when everything seemed impossible. We saw how Gabriel changed from a co
SERA's PovThe days after Selly's trial felt like a weight slowly lifting from our shoulders. The small house on the edge of the forest was once again filled with laughter and jokes, as it should be. But there was one thing that bothered me, something I couldn't explain. Maybe because I was used to the tension for so many years, or maybe because there was a feeling I couldn't ignore. One night, while Gabriel was reading in the living room and the kids were asleep, I sat beside him. He looked at me for a moment, then closed his book."You have something on your mind," he said."Have you ever thought about the future, Gabriel? About what will happen after all of this?"He put his book down on the table. "I always think about the future. But this time, I'm not just thinking about it, I'm planning it. With you."I smiled faintly. "I'm serious. We've been through so much. Betrayal, separation, battles, death. Aren't you afraid that something bad will happen again?""I'm afraid, Sera. But I
I was straightening my slightly disheveled shirt when suddenly, a shadow moved in the slightly open door. I immediately froze in shock.A woman in a neat business suit, likely Gabriel's personal assistant, stood frozen there. Her eyes were wide, her face pale. In her hands was a stack of files.Ria
The next day, the decision to go with Gabriel to his workplace felt like the only logical choice. The alternative was to spend the day alone in his luxurious apartment that felt like a marble-clad prison, obsessing over David, my uncle, and all the threats out there. At least, amidst the bustle of
From behind the glass door, I heard Elena’s voice.“I will return home tomorrow, but before that, I will make sure that human girl is sent away from here.”I pulled the blanket around my body tighter, trying not to make a sound.“I already told you, she will move house, but tomorrow because it is a
The main course had just been served when the air in the room shifted subtly. Not because of words, but because of pack instinct. The guests from Silvermoon began to straighten their backs, their eyes narrowing slightly, their noses flaring ever so faintly. They smelled something. Human scent. The
