“Fuck it, Jordan. I haven’t even touched you and you’re fucking glistening,” he whispered, voice rough with hunger as his fingers stroked down my slick folds.

My legs quivered. A silent moan escaped my mouth as I quickly covered it in shock.

“No, Firefox. Open wide till you’re dead from exhaustion of screaming my name.”

Flinging my hands off my mouth, he buried his teeth into my neck as he entered me fully, reaching all the unholy places I could think of.

“Oh God!” I moaned.

“Not God, princess… Xander West,” he smirked.

They warned me to stay away from him. He was going to destroy me, but I wanted it.

But that was before....

(PRESENT DAY)* * * *

Cold water hit my face, soaking into my hair, my skin, and the sheets beneath me.

I opened my eyes slowly as my eyes drifted to the magazine hidden beneath my pillow.

Lakeside Elite Academy.

A place I was never allowed to dream about… yet I did anyway.

Of course.

Lillian stood at the door, empty bucket in hand, watching me like she was waiting for something.

I didn’t gasp.

For a second, I thought the sky had broken.

Ironically, it hadn’t; it was just my annoying stepmother reminding me that I wasn’t supposed to stay comfortable in my father’s house.

Sitting straight, I let the water drip down my skin, soaking into the sheets beneath.

I sat up from the bed as I stared at her.

“Is that all you’ve got, Lillian?” I smiled.

The flicker in her eyes contrasted with the victorious look on her face.

She hated it when I didn’t scream, to her delight, or wriggle and gasp for air every time she decided to ruin my sleep.

The only place I could hear my mother’s voice, even though I couldn’t see her.

For a moment, I thought I heard her voice.

Soft. Calm and gone.

I turned to look around; my bed was soaked again for the third time this week, and the room smelled like mildew.

The breeze blew, sending chills over me as goosebumps appeared on my skin.

An awesome combination with the freezing morning bath I just received.

A routine Lillian never failed to keep.

Cackles and giggles followed in the hallways. There they were, my stepsisters Taylor and Tyler standing staring in pure disgust, their noses scrunched up in mockery.

Tyler was scrutinizing her nails like the world depended on it.

“You know, you could keep your face like that, Taylor… it actually makes you look more beautiful than usual,” I hissed, with a sly grin.

“Dear oh dear… A smart mouth won’t feed you this morning, Jorddeeyy.” She smiled, glaring at the same time.

“Did you forget you have a whole pile of dishes waiting for you?” Tyler said without looking up. Her innocent face contrasted with her personality; one would think she was a saint, but I refer to her as the actual bitch.

Checking her nails every second like they weren’t already cleaner than my undies.

“Get up and move to the kitchen. Now,” Lillian barked.

“Oh wow! ...How did I forget? You fired the slaves, right?” I scoffed.

“Seems like she’s still oblivious to the maid here.” Taylor laughed out loud.

“You were supposed to be in the kitchen 10 minutes ago. Don’t give me reasons to come here again, Jordan,” Lillian said as she waltzed away with her loyal incarnates.

Their expensive perfumes suffocating my lungs as they filled the hallways.

I stood up too quickly and collided into my bookshelf. The room was small but well arranged, if not for Lillian, who keeps checking to see whether I had stolen anything or not.

Unlike Taylor and Tyler, who had all the luxury anyone could think of. They always had the latest bags and shoes, showing off their make-up and flawless skin, which I secretly admired.

Stupid, but I did anyway.

And of all the women on earth, it was my mother’s best friend he married.

I sighed as I fell back on my bed.

It’s been four years, four years since they said she was gone.

I still do not believe a thing they said; it didn’t add up, and I’ve vowed to search for her because I know somewhere in my heart…

“Jorrddaaannn!!”

“Is the moron talking to herself again, Mom? Seriously, we need a psychiatrist for her. I don’t need a mad girl doing my laundry; she could rip off my expensive Gucci tag.” Taylor’s voice resounded in the hallway, and Tyler chuckled.

I folded my fists and stood up, barging out into the hallways.

I got downstairs to see them all prepared.

Taylor and Tyler in the latest dinner gowns Lillian bought for them, their makeup flawless, and Lillian looking like the devil wrapped in her tailored suit.

Today was Monday. Of course, how did I forget?

The school let the elites’ children dress as they liked on Mondays.

“I’m not saying much; you obviously know what to do. Do the laundry, wash the dishes, and of course CLEAN the house.” She smiled and touched my face while I stared at her in horror.

The only image flashing through my mind was one of me in jail for an attempted murder.

“As you know, my husband will be back today, and I don’t need the house to look messy. Also, you change those clothes of yours. You reek of dirt and illegitimacy.” She smirked.

“Move,” Tyler smirked as she shoved my shoulders.

They laughed as they walked out of the house and outside towards the red Lamborghini. And the low hum of the engine followed.

Finally, some silence.

The silence felt strange.

Like something was about to happen.

I couldn’t explain it, but my chest felt tight… as if today wouldn’t end like every other day.

I leaned against the wall.

It was a daily occurrence, but today? This felt unusually painful; I had always wished to go to Lakeside Elite Academy alongside the prestigious kids who attended the school.

Lillian had convinced my father to hire a tutor for me because apparently “girls of my status” aren’t supposed to attend LEA.

I wiped my face. This wasn’t going to be forever.

I moved towards the kitchen, where dishes piled up high—ones I never use. I got to work, reaching for my phone in my pocket as I plugged in my earpiece. I let the music take me away and fill the silence.

By the time I was done, the house sparkled clean. Well, it wasn’t going to last.

I grabbed a cloth and moved to the hallway.

Staring at the shelves as I stood, her picture was right where I left it.

Untouched. Even this was one thing Lillian never dared to touch.

I wiped the glass gently. I could still hear her voice in my head.

A knock sounded from the door. At first I didn’t hear it.

But the second one was loud and clear enough. It dragged me out of my thoughts.

Rushing down the stairs and towards the door, I pulled them open only to see disappointment.

“Oh, hi there, Miss," the mailman greeted.

“Hi, Mr.” I smiled politely, but my eyes said otherwise. My brows furrowed in confusion.

“Umm… I came to drop this, a letter for Miss Monroe Jordan.”

As soon as I heard my name, I panicked. My heart raced faster than usual, sweat gathering on my forehead. Who would drop off mail for me?

“Hellooo… Is this her location? It wasn’t written clearly,” he stated.

I nodded and smiled as I took the letter, signing the necessary materials.

I held it, staring at it for some time; that was when I saw it.

The symbol…

  • Dangerous Obsession   THAT'S YOUR OFFER!!!!!

ALEXANDER'S POV If wishes were horses, even the dead would fly. Break her. Use her. Forget her. Move on Except I was really trying hard to get her away from my memory when I hadn't even started. Her face was implanted in my brain already. I could tell I was taking a huge risk and I loved it. I took up the bet, meaning I took up my father's wish. Not sure I knew what I was doing and why, but my instinct told me I needed to—and my instinct never lies. I cuffed my sleeves as I kicked Darren off the bed. “Get the fuck up, you dick,” I snorted. He could sleep like a log all day long and Damien had just walked in. He probably spent the night in a bitch's apartment. “Seriously, dude?” I deadpanned lazily. “What? You guys don't seem like you wanna fuck new bitches this semester and why not? The girls love me.” He laughed and smacked my ass. “They’ll get tired of you soon enough,” Darren muttered. “Hey, I'm moving back tonight, Alex. You gotta get out and go back to yo

  • Dangerous Obsession   SENSATIONAL

†ALEXANDER POV†I bit back my laughter as Jordan raced out with her tail in between her legs.Kevin still stood smirking like he had won a prize. He hadn’t.The air between us went still, the lake moving quietly and the birds seeming to have stopped singing.Kevin adjusted his sleeve like he had all the time in the world. “Cold day for a walk, don’t you think?”“Not if you know where you’re going,” I replied. My voice was even.He tilted his head. “Some places are worth getting lost in.”“Some places don’t let you leave the same,” I said, eyes flicking past him to where Jordan had vanished. That made his smirk falter.“Not all things can be owned, you know. You lose things that you can't handle at times... Alexander,” he whispered, biting his lower lip.I didn’t answer. My eyes were on Jordan’s back as she disappeared past the treeline. But something twisted in my chest. No, it wasn't jealousy. It wasn't anger. I would call it an ordinary feeling that had absolutely nothing to do with

  • Dangerous Obsession   READY OR NOT

JORDAN'S POV*******The past few days, my name had been “Alex carried her,” and Angela was so not happy about it.I watched the video go viral on the school blog. When he rushed to my side in the video, I could feel the smile touching my ears.“Don’t blush to death,” Sara laughed as we offloaded our books on the table. The librarian shushed us from her desk.“I’m not blushing.” I glared, the heat in my cheeks contrasting greatly with my words.I hated this feeling. It's stupid.Sara kept sipping her juice like she was watching a show.“Okay then, you’re not.” She teased. The librarian shushed us. Again. The library doors clicked open. I didn’t look up. It seemed irrelevant, especially when the comments had catchy phrases.##I’m guessing she's a new bitch.##JorxanderWhat the fuck?!Footsteps echoed in the library. A book fell on our table loudly. The librarian looked up and glared.Sara kicked me. I kicked back.“Hey—” James smiled, nodding at the both of us, his scent of lemons engu

  • Dangerous Obsession   THE GAME II

π•π•π•π•π JORDAN’S POV π•π•π•π•πSara was already yanking her ponytail tighter, eyes sharp.“It’s our turn. The boys lost by one goal. Let’s go show those bitches who we are,” she clapped, the sound cracking through the hallway. She was back.I exhaled. The soda can in my hand dented under my grip. The boys lost by one goal, which meant Alex lost. Which meant he was probably in that locker room right now, replaying every missed shot in his head.“Fine. War it is.” I crushed the can and tossed it.The court doors slammed open and the noise hit us like a wave. The LEA crowd was quiet. But Angela’s team hadn’t died down. Wonderful. One good thing about her: she was relentless.Ashfort’s side was loud and smug, their blue-gold banners waving like they had already won.Their cheerleaders formed an A as we walked out. Angela stood front and center, pom-poms high, her smirk aimed right at me.“Fresh meat for the wolves,” she sang under her breath.I didn’t look at her. I looked at the court.

  • Dangerous Obsession   THE GAME

∆∆∆∆ ALEXANDER'S POV ∆∆∆“For someone who said he's not into her, you sure do look like you want her so bad…To fuck her—Hold her—And these aren't part of your business here, Alex. Remember that.”Angela's voice echoed in my head. She had been watching me, my stares at Jordan, and my every move.Angela was a childhood friend. Her mother died when she was 10. I had been her shield till it took bigger turns and we started fucking around. Now?She doesn't want to stop, but I'm tired of it. Sex with her feels the same. No interesting shit, and it's boring, just like other bitches.I stared back at my reflection in the mirror, sighed, and took up my jersey.Today was the game.I texted Darren to go find any duplicated key that was missing from my locker. How the fuck does she get into my room??π•π•π•π•π JORDAN'S POV π•π•π•π•π“Jordan, be quick. Ashfort is arriving soon,” Sara kept mumbling ferociously, like a timer had been set and was about to go off.“Girl, calm down. They ain't runni

  • Dangerous Obsession   MY QUESTIONS DON'T GO UNANSWERED∆

I opened the news card reading in between the lines and very fast. We were having a competition with the neighborhood school {Ashfort Hall Academy}. A school just like LEA, high socials and statuses. They were probably more anonying people like Angela and the likes there. “Yeah, now that's what am talking about” Our school basketball bots had started yelling in the cafe. They always wanted an opportunity to show off. I scoffed inwardly. “Yoo…Captain. Come check this out” A dude yelled to Alexander Captain huh?? Our eyes met slowly and I smirked. He stared at th news card for a second and then at me “Guys!” “We’re babysitting the botsssss” He yelled. He seemed active this time. The crowd erupted in screams, chairs scraped. Food thrown in the air and the cafe cooks shaking their head in despair and tiredness. I laughed. It was crazy and fun to be with them at times. “Hoo hoo hoo, hoo hoo hoo, hoo hoo hoo” They all hooted shaking each other and my crew girls all

The classroom froze. He hit the floor, but instead of showing off his anger, he chuckled — low and unsettling. ”What have you fucking done Jordan?” I muttered.Slowly, he stood up, brushing imaginary dust off his blazer. His blue eyes locked onto mine, calm… too calm.“You’ve got guts,” he murmu

  • Dangerous Obsession   YOU DID WHAT!!??

I stormed out of the room angrily and headed towards the principal's office to drop the complaint, but the hell?????”We are sorry to inform you, Miss Jordan, the rooms are filled up and you have to manage till maybe the next semester. I promise this will be sorted out," the acting principal said.

  • Dangerous Obsession   A NEW WORLD

I replayed the scene countless times in my head. I lost my breath and didn't know when I rushed to hug my dad.Taylor had stormed out of the dining room angered, but obviously there was nothing she could do.Tyler had stared, and Lillian's eyes had shown fire, contrasting greatly with her smile.“E

  • Dangerous Obsession   THE LETTER

I closed the door as it banged, its echo leaving a hollow feeling. My heart thudded erratically against my chest as I stared at the letter in my hands. What exactly was inside? And who had sent it to me? Why?Questions filled my head from different angles. I've heard of cases where girls receive an
