(Wendy)
Wendy Clayton stepped out of the Omega quarters. She was wearing a brown dress and black slippers. Her red hair shone and bounced as she rushed out to find her mate. She had just turned 18 years old the previous month, and now it was the night of the full moon. The full moon was out and she scented that sweet coffee scent. Her tummy growled with excitement. Her heart thudding against her rib cage, she rushed out of the pack house, running in search of her mate. Several werewolves were outside, running to find their mate. The air was thick with excitement, and Wendy believed she would find her mate. She was mute. She couldn't communicate with anyone except using sign language or through her wolf, Poppy. Wendy shifted to Poppy, running in search of that sweet coffee scent that pulled her. Her large paws hit the ground as Poppy was a red wolf. When Wendy reached the woods, she stopped. She heard the voices and the moans echoing deeply within the woods. The tall trees shielded her, and she shifted back to herself and hid so that people mating in the woods wouldn't see her. Her heart burned with pain, and she coughed up blood. There, in the woods, was Alpha Dax Boston, a tall 23-year-old man, completely naked. He was mating with Emma Parker, the Beta's daughter. They were both naked under the full moon. Wendy's eyes narrowed with betrayal. What was she thinking? Alpha Dax would accept a mute omega like her. Wendy couldn't speak. She couldn't call them out. She saw Alpha Dax standing behind Emma. His hands on her waist. His cọck thrusting deeply into Emma's wet core. "Yes, hit me, Alpha. Yes, yes!" Emma moaned, her eyes rolling backwards. Her head fell backwards with excitement. She was kneeling on all four limbs. Alpha Dax was right behind her back. His hands gripping her waist. His thrust pounding deeply into her wetness. "Yes, right there! Harder, Alpha!" Emma moaned in pleasure. Wendy's eyes narrowed with hatred. She knew Alpha Dax disliked her. She remembered he had warned her to stop gawking at him. She saw him raise his head and look at her in the woods. Her orange eyes met his light blue eyes. He didn't stop. He didn't withdraw his cọck. She saw him pump faster into Emma's behind until he reached his climax. He moaned in pleasure, and his lips curled up in a smirk at Wendy. Wendy turned and dashed back to the pack house. Her heart burning with agony. She knew Alpha Dax would not accept her. How dare she think she was befitting to be Luna? She shifted to Poppy. "I'm sorry, Wendy. I should have told you," Poppy said, her voice thick with pity. Her heart burning too, as they could both feel Alpha Dax's betrayal. "It's not your fault. If only I could speak. If only I were befitting to be his Luna," Wendy cried, running back home. When she reached the pack house, many who had found their goddess-gifted mates had gone home. There were few people standing outside. They looked at Wendy with disgust. Many of them didn't like her. She was mute. Like a stain in the pack. Wendy walked to her parents' quarters. She found her mother, Juliet, and her father, Amos, standing at the front door. Her mother was fair-skinned like Wendy, with red hair too. She served as a servant for the Alpha's family. Her father was a warrior too, but of lower rank. "Wendy! What happened? Did you find your mate?" Her mother rushed to hold her when she saw how Wendy looked. Her father stepped forward. His face filled with pity. Her mother spoke to her through the mindlink. Wendy shook her head to indicate no. Her heart breaking. Tears poured out of her eyes. She couldn't tell her parents she was mated to the Alpha's son. Alpha Neo and his mate, Stella, didn't like Wendy's parents. Her body trembled under her mother's comforting hug. "It's fine. You will find your goddess-gifted mate. You don't have to cry. You're still young, and there are many chances and full moons to come," her mother comforted her, her tone soft, her hands hugging Wendy. "Let's go in," her mother said, before turning to take her inside. Wendy met her father's gaze. He sighed and stepped forward. "Have faith in the Moon Goddess. She will bless you with a mate," he spoke to her through the mindlink, and Wendy nodded. She didn't want to tell her parents the truth. She feared what Alpha Neo and his mate, Stella, would do to her parents. She knew Luna Stella disliked her mother because of her beauty and natural red hair. Wendy walked with her parents to their Omega quarters. She heard some of the omegas laughing at her. "What did Wendy think? That she would find her goddess-gifted mate? Haha! Even mutes want fated mates!" It was Nadia Nicolas laughing at Wendy. Nadia was an omega too, but she was closer to the Beta's family because Emma Parker was her friend. "A mute with hope? We, who can talk, haven't found our mate. Useless omega!" Rita spat, her eyes shooting daggers at Wendy. "Don't pay attention to them, Wendy," her mother said. Her hands moved to cover Wendy's ears, and she led her to their suite. It was a mini house, built among other omega quarters in the large pack house. The house was a mini three-bedroom apartment. Wendy had her own personal room. Her older brother, Ruben, had one room, while her parents had one. Ruben came home, knowing Wendy had gone to find her mate. He wore a brown top and black trousers with black boots. He was training to be a pack warrior. He had brown hair like their father. He walked to meet Wendy. "Did you find your mate?" he asked her, his voice thick with concern. Wendy shook her head and brushed her brother's hands off her shoulder. She dashed into her room, shut the door, and sank on the floor crying. "Wendy, you will find your mate. Have hope!" Ruben said as he pounded on the door. "Wendy, I came home to see you. If you didn't find your mate today, you can find him some other time, okay?" Wendy mindlinked her brother. "Okay. I need to sleep. Goodnight." She moved away from the floor and went to bed to sleep. Her heart burning from the pain of Alpha Dax's betrayal. 'How will she reject him?' She pondered.DAX:"Are these the women who hurt Wendy Clayton?" Dax demanded, his tone furious when he saw about 50 young women step forward. What if they had killed Wendy? No wonder his heart ached painfully."Yes," they muttered.Ares Jackson arrived at the Omega's quarters. He had been busy with the rogues they caught at the pack borders, so he hadn't taken the time to find out what was happening, but he heard the rumors and the report that a young lady accused Dax of mating with her. Ares recalled he had seen Dax at the Omega's quarters. He looked at Dax as their gazes locked, and he bowed to him in submission."Alpha, I am sorry I just arrived here to witness this," Ares stated, his gaze lowered.Dax's eyes narrowed at Ares. "It's fine. How was the rogues' attack?""We caught them. They are seeking refuge and not meaning to harm, so we had them registered," Ares reported, knowing the rogues were arrested first before being either permitted to join the pack or sent away after a thorough invest
EMMA:Emma rushed forward to hold Dax's hand again."Can I walk with you? That way, the pack will know that I am your Luna. Other girls will back off," Emma said, her tone firm but laced with pleading."Alright." Dax agreed. He didn't want to refuse Emma. He strode with her as they walked side by side. Some other pack members bowed and greeted them on the way.Dax and Emma kept strolling, and Jeff stepped out of the Omega's quarters entrance gate and met them on the way."Where are you coming from?" Dax asked, as he paused at Jeff Parker's front.Jeff was a tall, light-skinned guy, and he shared a striking resemblance with Emma."From the Omega Quarters. A fight broke out, and your father sent me to find out what it was all about," Jeff reported, looking over at Dax's face. He glanced between his sister and Dax."Who were fighting?" Dax asked, his voice cold.Emma could feel the tension in Dax's voice."Well, it's not that type of fight. The omegas were attacking someone. But she has
DAX:When Dax reached the Alpha's mansion, he waited for the guards to unlock the gate. Though they were Alphas, the Alpha mansion was more protected than most of the other houses within the pack.Dax watched the gate open, and he drove in and parked.Just then, his heart ached violently. His fist tightened around the steering wheel. He felt the strain in his heart. His mate. The bond.Dax couldn't believe that he was feeling Wendy's pain.'How the fụck did I start feeling the pain of a weak Omega?'Dax coughed up blood. His mother's eyes widened in horror."Dax, my goodness. Are you alright? What's wrong? Are you sick?" Luna Stella panicked. Her hands reached to hold Dax as soon as he parked his car.Dax drew a deep breath. His breathing was ragged and hot, and his Alpha aura surfaced."Mate! Our mate is in danger. She needs us!" Daniel surfaced, but Dax refused to acknowledge Wendy. He shut his wolf out. His aura made his mother gasp for breath. Her eyes widened in confusion. Her mo
DAX:When Dax stepped out of the Council of Elders building, his heart burned. His wolf growled at him, "You will regret this.""There's nothing to regret, Daniel. We are stronger than this. This is not just about me. The pack might come under attack if I have a weak Luna. Moreover, why would Wendy come to the Council of Elders building to report me? I do not think I will regret anything. In fact, I made the best decision to reject her, even though she hasn't accepted my rejection yet."Dax's eyes narrowed as he glanced at the front of the Council of Elders building. He watched his father get into his car after discussing with Elder Simon, and he drove off.Dax had caught a snippet of his father and Elder Simon's conversation. Elder Simon had said, "Neo, do not forget that without evidence, it's improper to send someone to jail. We will need a thorough investigation on this matter before our next visit." Elder Simon had glanced at Dax coldly before he left and entered his black car, f
WENDY:"Elder, my husband is innocent. Can you not do anything to help him get freed? Please, help us!" Juliet pleaded, holding Elder Caleb's hands.Elder Caleb shook his head. His voice thick with pity as he said, "I wish I could. But you know this is not my pack. But you can still get justice if you go to the pack hospital for screening to check if your daughter was truly defiled.""Will that work? Won't Alpha Neo ruin the report?" Juliet asked, staring at Elder Caleb's face.Elder Caleb's brows furrowed and he replied, "I don't think so. But it's best you get good evidence to use against an alpha. I have to be on my way now. You should take care of yourself and your daughter too."Elder Caleb freed himself from Juliet's grasp and glanced at Wendy. She lowered her head while he strode ahead to his car, flanked by his security escort.Once in his car, he rode off.Wendy looked back at Beta Gideon glaring at him, and he watched them. The rest of the elders had already gone, including
(Wendy) Wendy landed with a hard shove on the ground. Her eyes widened in shock as tears streamed down her cheeks. She hadn't expected Dax to be so brutal, so furious that he threw her away when she was holding his hands and begging him. She raised her hands to her cheeks and wiped off her tears as she watched the guards escort her father to prison. Ruben rushed over to help Wendy stand on her feet. "Wendy, are you alright?" he asked, his deep voice laced with concern. Wendy saw Dax wipe his hand off from the place she had touched him. He then walked out of the meeting hall. While some of the elders looked at her with pity, some of the other elders glared at her for wanting to climb the ladder and become Luna. Wendy wasn't fit to be Luna. She was born to be a slave and not to rule the pack. Wendy watched Dax stroll out of the hall; he didn't cast a glance at her. He simply warned her brother, "You better warn your sister to keep her hands to herself. The next time she comes clo
(Wendy) "Wendy! Wendy!!" Wendy heard her parents' voices from her floor. They were slamming the door, threatening to open it. "Wendy, if you do not open this door, I will break it down now!" It was her older brother, Ruben. "Wendy, open the door. You need to prepare for the palace visit today. Do
(Alpha Dax) Dax looked at Wendy shifting in the bed. He had arrived here at her room to reject her. But when his gaze landed on her smooth thighs, he couldn't resist the bond, the pull, and force of attraction to claim her. His throat tightened. His jaw clenched, and his pheromones surged forward,
(Dax) Dax woke up in his room with a slamming headache. It was a bright Saturday morning, and he knew it was the council meeting. As the Alpha's son, Dax knew that he had to attend the meeting. He got out of bed; he tried to mindlink his wolf. But he felt empty. "Daniel," Dax called. He could fee
(Alpha Dax) Dax has only arrived at Wendy's parents' quarters to reject her. Most of the Omegas were indoors. It was late at night. Around 3 a.m. Dax had first gone home when he finished mating with Emma. He met his mother, Stella, in the living room of their magnificent white mansion. She asked
