“Keep quiet and stay still,” Eric said softly, his tone low and firm.Her heart beats faster, confusion filling her chest. Ethan looked very surprised. Turning to Tessy, Eric said, “Tessy, go back to your office.” Tessy nodded immediately and left the office. The soft sound of the door closing filled the quiet room. Ethan turned sharply to Eric. “Eric Edison, are you telling me you are interested in both sisters?” Ethan asked. Eric’s face remained expressionless. “Stop talking nonsense. I don’t want you getting close to her,” Eric replied coldly. “Why?” Ethan asked. “Do I need to explain to you? You are getting married in few weeks’ time.” Eric reminded Ethan as if he had forgotten. “Hmn, collecting her phone number doesn't mean I am going to chase her. I just feel this connection with her, as if I have known her for years,” Ethan said while leaning back in his chair thoughtfully. Eric laughed at Ethan while muttering, “Poor opening line.” Ethan was annoyed and wanted to hit Eric. He pointed an annoyed finger at “A governor should not fight.” Eric said quickly with a smile. — The next day.

Tessy, standing at the corner of the office, felt her heart tighten. Fear crept into her heart. She was afraid he would immediately notice that the food was not from the Edison Hotel.
