MasukTricia Mercer is a plus-size she-wolf trapped in a toxic three-year bond with an Alpha who openly calls her the worst mistake of his life. She cooks, cleans, manages his pack house, and sacrifices everything, desperately fighting for a love that never comes. Instead she is humiliated, ignored, and treated like a burden by both her mate and his family. On the night of his pack gathering, her world finally shatters. Her husband presents another she-wolf to the pack and announces she is carrying his pup. Worse, she is the daughter of a powerful Beta whose bloodline connections Maxwell needs to rise in pack hierarchy and secure his position as Alpha. But when Tricia refuses to accept the betrayal, the night turns violent. She is beaten… and thrown off a balcony by the very people she called family. Left for dead. But Tricia doesn't die. She wakes up and everything changes. Her memories return. She is not just a discarded Luna. She is Seraphina Montclair, the missing heiress of one of the most powerful pack dynasties in the world and the rightful Alpha of the Crestwood Pack. And the man who saved her? Caspian Voss. A name from her past… once invisible, now the Lycan King with power that makes every Alpha on the continent bow. As Tricia rises back into her true identity, the man who destroyed her realizes exactly who he lost and comes crawling back, desperate and obsessed. But this time she is no longer the she-wolf he broke. And Caspian? He's not letting her go again.

"Where's that fat fool who calls herself the Luna of the pack?”
My mother-in-law's voice cut through the pack house hallway like it was meant for everyone inside.
I froze mid-step as heat rushed up my neck, my fingers tightening at my sides while I slowly turned.
She stood at the end of the corridor in a champagne-colored gown, perfectly put together.
Her expression was sharp with open disgust as her eyes swept over me like I was something she couldn't scrub out of her life.
"Oh," she said at last, lips curling. "There you are."
Her gaze dragged over me slowly, deliberately.
"Still holding on to all that weight, I see," she added lightly. "It's almost impressive at this point. What are you now—one hundred… what was it again, Vanessa?"
Vanessa, my sister-in-law, appeared beside her instantly, smiling.
"Two hundred and sixty pounds," she said brightly, like she was announcing a winning lottery number.
A soft laugh slipped from my mother-in-law's lips.
"Right," she nodded. "By the next full moon, it'll probably be doubled."
My fingers curled tighter at my sides.
"I've been preparing everything for tonight's pack gathering," I said quietly.
"Oh, preparing?" she echoed, stepping closer.
"Let's see if that includes not embarrassing my son in front of his pack members."
The air shifted before I could respond as my husband, Maxwell, walked in.
He didn't look at me first. He greeted his mother and sister warmly, speaking to them like I wasn't even there.
Then his eyes landed on me.
"What are you still doing here?" he asked flatly. "Standing around like a lost omega?"
"I was just making sure everything is ready," I said quickly.
He studied me like I was a problem he was tired of solving.
"My mother is sixty," he said coldly. "And she still carries herself like a true Alpha's mate. She trains at dawn, hunts with the pack, and holds herself with dignity."
His mother lifted her chin slightly, pleased.
"But you…"
A humorless laugh left his lips.
"You're twenty-six, and you can't even keep up during a simple pack run. What kind of Luna can't hunt with her own pack because she can't lift her body?”
My breath caught.
"Maxwell…"
"Don't interrupt me."
Silence dropped instantly.
He stepped closer, eyes dragging over me with open disgust.
"Do you even look at yourself?" he asked.
"Or have you just gotten used to this?"
My lips parted, but nothing came out.
"I can't even stand beside you at pack events without feeling embarrassed," he said flatly. "What did I ever see in you in the first place?"
"You are the worst mistake of my life, Tricia."
And just like that… everything inside me went still.
I met Maxwell three years ago as a patient in a pack infirmary on the edge of Silvermont territory.
I had been there for weeks with no visitors, unable to pay my healing bills, and with no memory of my past or how I had ended up there.
Then Maxwell came one day.
He was the Alpha heir of one of the fastest-rising packs in the region.
He cleared my bills without hesitation, gave me shelter in the pack house after my discharge, and later offered me a formal place within his household.
When he asked me to be his Luna, I didn't hesitate. I thought I was the luckiest she-wolf alive to be chosen by someone like him.
If Maxwell hadn't found me, I would have had nothing.
He was perfect, and I was the problem.
If only I could lose weight, maybe things would be different.
But nothing ever worked. Every time I tried, the weight came back twice as much.
I joined pack training repeatedly, starved myself for days, even attempted a twelve-day cleanse that ended with me collapsing during morning drills and waking up in the infirmary again.
"TRICIA!"
My mother-in-law's voice snapped through the hallway like a whip.
I blinked hard, realizing I had zoned out.
"Have you added deafness to your list of problems now?" she snapped. "Get out of here before you embarrass this family any further."
I nodded quickly and turned to leave, my steps unsteady as I tried to escape before I completely broke in front of them.
But Vanessa's voice stopped me again.
I turned slightly.
She smiled like she was doing me a favor.
"Just honest advice," she said lightly. "Don't wear anything fitted to the gathering tonight."
Her smile widened.
"You know what happened at the last full moon ceremony."
I didn't make it to my room before I broke down.
I collapsed on the floor and cried until I couldn't breathe properly.
Months ago, I had saved money from small change I collected while running pack errands because Maxwell never gave me personal funds as his Luna.
I bought a fitted ceremonial dress and attended the pack's harvest moon celebration with Maxwell.
But the moment I stood to greet the elder wolves, I realized my mistake, the dress split at the back in front of the entire pack.
Maxwell never forgave me for that night, and since then, he stopped sharing my bed.
I didn't know how long I stayed on the floor, but when I finally got up and dressed, most of the pack members had already arrived in the main hall.
A woman stood near the ceremonial podium beside my mate.
She was perfect in every sense, and for a moment I wished I could be like her.
I forced myself to move, standing at the edge of the room where no one really noticed me, and then I heard the whispers.
"Isn't that her?"
"Oh my God… she actually came."
"Don't you know who she is? That's Laura Sinclair. Her father is Beta to the Crestwood Alpha”
My eyes drifted back to her again. I felt the familiar sting of jealousy seeing another woman standing that close to my husband, but I told myself it was pack business.
She had the kind of bloodline and connections that could strengthen Maxwell's position as Alpha.
Then Maxwell took the ceremonial mic from the pack elder.
The room slowly quieted as all eyes turned toward him.
"Thank you all for honoring my invitation at such short notice," he said calmly.
"Tonight is significant to me because not only do we mark a new chapter for the Silvermont Pack, but I also have something personal to share."
A few pack members smiled, waiting.
"Come here, baby," he said, gesturing toward Laura.
I blinked slowly, unable to process it properly.
Did my husband just call another woman, baby?
Maxwell pulled her closer by the hand, then faced the room again.
"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Laura Sinclair," he announced clearly. "My chosen mate and the new Luna of silvermont pack”
Emelda’s POVPatrick noticed how emotional I had become whenever Seraphina was mentioned. We sat together in our chambers after dinner talking. Patrick was finally beginning to look like himself again. The color had returned to his face.He could walk around the room without the healers worrying every second. The wound on his shoulder was healing well, even though he still couldn’t move his arm too much. The healer had ordered complete rest but Patrick, of course, hated resting.“I’ve been staring at these same four walls for days.” He sighed dramatically as he sat by the window. “I’m starting to think the healer enjoys torturing me.”I couldn’t help smiling. “You almost died so you should be grateful you’re still here.”“I am grateful.” He reached for my hand. “Especially because you’re here.”I squeezed his fingers gently. “I’ll always be here.”He smiled, For a while, we simply sat together in silence.I felt this kind of peace we hadn’t felt since our wedding. He watched me for a
Laura’s POVI woke up before sunrise and today I actually felt hopeful. Today was my scheduled antenatal appointment. It wasn’t just another visit to the healer. It was a chance to make sure my baby was still healthy. A chance to get away from this house even if it was only for a few hours.I gently placed my hand over my stomach as I slowly climbed out of bed carefully. The pain from my fall hadn’t completely disappeared. I hadn’t forgotten a single word from the pack healer about taking a complete bed rest but unfortunately no one else in this house seemed to care.I quickly washed my face before changing into a simple dress then I quietly opened my bedroom door. One of the younger servants was already waiting outside because I had secretly arranged transportation with her. When she saw me she immediately lowered her voice.“My Lady.”“Is everything ready?” I asked. She nodded. “The car is waiting behind the servants’ quarters, no one will notice.”I felt so relieved “Thank you.”S
Maxwell’s POVMaxwell’s kidnapping trial officially began before the Head Council. The courtroom was already full when I walked in.Council guards stood along every wall and Reporters filled the public gallery.Representatives from different packs occupied the front rows, whispering among themselves. The moment I entered the whispers grew louder.“That’s Alpha Maxwell.”“They say today’s hearing is the most important one.”“I heard the evidence against him is overwhelming and I wonder how he’ll explain kidnapping the Lycan King’s sister.”I ignored every word because If I reacted to every rumor I’d lose before the trial even began. My lawyer walked beside me. He leaned closer and lowered his voice.“Remember, no matter what happens today, stay calm.”I nodded. “I know.”“Don’t let the prosecution provoke you.”“I won’t.” He adjusted the stack of documents in his hands. “We’ve prepared for this, so we stick to our argument.”I looked ahead. “I understand.”We reached our table. Across
Seraphina’s POVAlthough deeply hurt by Emelda’s words, I threw myself into pack duties rather than dwelling on the confrontation. The palace felt unusually quiet after breakfast. Almost too quiet. The silence seemed to follow me through every corridor.Every servant I passed bowed respectfully, but I noticed the way some of them looked at me.Some looked sympathetic while others quickly lowered their eyes. News traveled fast inside a palace. By now… Everyone probably knew what had happened in the dining hall.I tightened my grip on the files in my hands. There was no point thinking about it because there was work to do.The pack didn’t stop because someone’s heart was hurting. When I stepped into my office, Patrick’s assistant was already waiting.“Good morning, My Luna.”“Good morning.” He handed me a stack of reports. “These arrived while you were having breakfast.”I accepted them. “Thank you.”He hesitated for a second. Then quietly asked,“Is… everything alright?”I knew what he
Tricia / Seraphina’s POVI stared at him, waiting for him to laugh or to say it was a joke but Caspian didn’t instead he sat beside me waiting for my reply. “Are you insane?” The words ripped out of me, sharp and loud in the quiet hospital room.“Marriage? You want to marry me?,”“Yes,” he said si
CHAPTER 5Tricia's POVThe nurse looked genuinely scared and said this was a case of amnesia, but she didn't know why I was claiming another identity. She hurried off, saying she wanted to call the doctor. She added that the one who saved me had been among the guests at my husband's pack gathering
Tricia's POV"Tricia, what have you done!" Maxwell exploded, his voice shaking with rage."How dare you! So this has been your plan all along, huh? You're jealous because you can't carry a pup so you decide to kill another she-wolf's child!”"No, no," I shook my head rapidly, tears already blurring
Tricia's POVMaxwell didn't even wait for silence to settle before he reached into his pocket and pulled out a thick roll of bills and threw them on the floor."Pick that up," he said coldly. "Run to the pack store and get what my baby wants."The words hit me like something physically impossible t
