Mag-log inKyrell
Third person
Kyrell stopped dead in his tracks. He wasn't surprised that Samiel figured it out. The man has always been very observant. What surprised him was the excitement in his voice.
"Tell no one about it." Kyrell said and resumed his stride. He doesn't care about her. The fragile being that makes him question his sanity.
Samiel could see the tension on his prince shoulder, even when he was trying too hard to mask it. He picked up his pace.
"But why shouldn't I? You found your fated mate. That I extremely hard to come by for lycans, and you found yours." Samiel followed behind him until they got to Kyrell's study.
"I don't believe you should keep this a secret. Not when the hunt is tomorrow."
Kyrell sat on his seat behind the mahogany desk, and started working on the files piled up in front of him.
"You shouldn't tell anyone because I say so." His voice didn't match the conflict going on in his mind.
Samiel could only do as his future alpha orders. He knows how strong the mate bond is for Lycans, one that could turn them feral if they stay away from their fated mate without claiming her. Yet Kyrell doesn't seem affected.
"How long do you intend to stand there?" Kyrell did look up from his work.
Quickly adjusting his thoughts, Samiel walked up in front of him. Lifting the slick tablet in his hands.
"Prince Kyrell your agendas for today..."
"Cancel them." Flipping the page of the file his brow furrowed in a frown.
"This is the second time this week you ask I cancel all your schedules my prince. I'm afraid they've piled up rather to high." As his future Beta there was only so much he could do.
"The hunt is tomorrow my prince. There are a few things that requires your attention."
Kyrell ignored him. He was more focused on the file before him. The mooncrest pack keeps pushing into their territory, that's an insult he would not take.
Samiel cleared his throat. "Also my prince your father still requests your presence. He wasn't satisfied with the way the meeting came to an end."
His father must think him weak for not being able to control his wolf. Storming out of the meeting in that manner would only heighten his father's doubt about him. Kyrell didn't understood why his father was never satisfied with his achievements, he didn't care to.
"I'll meet with him later." Samiel understood the silence that followed after as a dismissal.
"Of course." He turned and left the study, leaving his future alpha to his thoughts and inner struggles.
Kyrell tried to drown himself in work. He couldn't afford to leave the confinement of his mansion. Looking into his schedules for today would require him to do so. To step outside and breath the air that seems to be his punishment. Even now he her scent still lingers in his nose, his entire being. And it angers everything out of Xerus that she isn't theirs yet.
Attending the welcome dinner isn't only unimportant, it's also puts him in a conflicting situation, knowing that his fated mate and future Luna might be there.
Speaking of which, Kyrell read his wrist watch. The dinner is in less than an hour, he has been working the whole day. More like hiding.
He stood up and walked to his bedroom. Moving effortlessly in the dark, he want to his bathroom and started his bath routine. The cold water ran down his body, cooling him a bit while he forced Xerus down his mind.
He's been doing that for days now and it's only a matter of time before the it takes a toll on him. He's meant to be one with his wolf not push him down.
He came out of the shower thirty minutes later, changed into the already prepared silk pyjamas and sat in front of the hearth. After hours of staring at the fire, he moved to his bed and let sleep claim him.

His mind woke him up the next day before sunrise. After washing his face, he changed into his jym wear and began his morning run.
By the time he got back, his designer were already waiting for him, holding a garment carrier.
"Good morning prince Kyrell." Kyrell looked at the garment carrier in his hand, his mind wasn't prepared for a fitting.
Taking the bag from him, he went his room and mind linked his future Beta.
'Send a car to vesper, and one of the drivers.'
Samiel who was outside speaking to the security guards focused his gaze to the vast field up ahead.
'Yes prince Kyrell'
The security guards waiting patiently while he mind linked their future alpha. They already guess what the brief was about, as the crimson hunt is in a few hours.
'And send security to trail them discreetly not to draw unnecessary attention.'
Kyrell cut off the mind link after Samiel replied him. Vesper is his future Luna, and it's his duty to keep her safe.
As the time for the crimson hunt drew nearer, Xerus growl in his head became stronger. The crimson hunt couldn't stop Kyrell from being fashionably late.
'Let me out' Xerus growled.
Kyrell ignored him and kept on getting ready. Even though he has the best designer, his body figure could make even a polythene bag look stylish.
'Be a good boy and stay down.' Kyrell fixed his gold cufflinks, stared at his reflection on the mirror one last time and walked out of the bedroom. Samiel was already waiting for him by the car.
*Hours later*
By the time they arrived at the crimson hunt, the first set of wolves already claimed their mates. The second set was almost done when Kyrell stepped inside the ballroom.
His nostrils flaired in recognition of the scent in the air. With great difficulty he walked with confidence towards his parents sitting at the dias. He was finding it difficult to breath, and it had nothing to do with the stunning woman walked with elegance towards him.
'Do not claim her' Xerus tugged at the darkest part of his mind.
Of course she wasn't their mate. Kyrell could feel her behind him, hiding herself in the crowd, inching closer and closer until his focus was a total mess.
Vesper dark eyes sparkled brightly she stood in front of him. Yet all he could see was were scared green ones. All he could hear was her heartbeat across the room.
Before he could think, he he turned and started stalking towards the scent. Every other thing was a blur when he set his eyes on the petite figure dressed too casual for the event with her sweatshirt and short skirt.
Her green eyes widened, her small pink lips parted, her heartbeat quickened. She took two steps back when Kyrell kept stalking to her direction. His father mind linked him to stop, same with his mother while his beta asked him what he was doing.
He shut all their voice away, the murmuring in the room sounded faint. So faint that he almost heard nothing.
He didn't care that every single person seem to focus their attentions on him. He only cared about the frightened girl in front of him.
For a moment nothing moved.
Her gaze glued to his.
Xerus calmed.
And his next words fell low, almost like a whisper.
"Ours."
Kyrell'She's gone.'Kyrell's face contorted as something angry sat in his chest. For a moment, he forgot Vesper was still sitting beside him, waiting patiently for his next words that never came. He felt the sharp sting in his head, then the silence that followed after. He dismissed it, thinking she must have fallen asleep.'What do you mean gone?' He kept his voice level through the mind link, still aware of Vesper's eyes on him.'Two security guards were found unconscious. When I checked her room, it was empty. No sign of forced entry. I already have the omegas being questioned.'Kyrell's brows furrowed. Xerus clawed at the back of his mind. She wouldn't dare try to escape. She wouldn't dare test him again. That meant someone else must have taken her or helped her.'I'm coming down.'Kyrell stood abruptly, the sudden movement pulling Vesper's attention."What's wrong?" she asked, rising with him."I have a rat under my roof."He didn't look at her as he walked into his closet and q
NyxThe first thing I felt was the pounding at the back of my head that spread behind my eyes. Being struck in the head until I was unconscious really felt like shit. I tried to massage the pain away. I couldn't. My entire body felt too heavy, like I was under a sandbag.I frowned as I slowly opened my eyes. The only thing I could see was suffocating darkness. For a terrifying moment, I thought I was having another nightmare or, worse, that I had been buried alive. However, when I hit my head due to an impact, I brushed the thought away.I couldn't see anything, and the suffocating feeling was because I was wrapped in a thick material, like a rug. Rough fibers scratched against my cheeks as I struggled to sit up. Besides being wrapped up in a rug, I was squeezed into a very uncomfortable position and was swaying from side to side. Then the realization hit me.A trunk. I was in the trunk of a car."What the bloody hell?"Panic clawed up my throat, and I thrashed against the fabric, try
Third personKyrell straightened slowly as the pain dulled. Even his room felt alien to him for a moment. He felt every pain from the bond, the bond that should have been severed after he rejected her. Now he was tied to her stronger than he first felt and it angered everything out of him. That stray determined if he felt pain or not, a completely fragile creature anchoring his sanity.Kyrell had walked into his bedroom together with Samiel to discuss a diplomatic mission about to take place in his territory two weeks from now. However, that conversation did not last long before the bond flared and exploded into pain, making it difficult for him to think. Samiel had gone to seek a solution to the sudden discomfort. He moved to sit on the sofa beside his bed after changing into his nightwear. There was no longer pain in the bond. What he felt was fear, her fear. Good. He could work with that. He shouldn't be bothered with the emotions of a common human. If that's what she was. No human
NyxThe entire packhouse was quiet as night dragged in, the sounds of our footsteps echoed in the hallway. I had no idea where this Samiel guy was taking me but it was definitely not to the direction of an underground cell like I expected. He just kept walking ahead of me without slowing his stride. Well, at least he was kind enough to uncuff me.I had lots of questions for the man. I had lots of questions for everyone. Starting with why the fuck my father decided to play saint and picked me up from the gutters. Honestly I think I would have been pretty more comfortable there than I am now.I followed Samiel up the flight of stairs that brought us to a dark hallway. There was only one door at the end and I didn't need to be told that it would be my new prison. However as Samiel pushed the door open my jaw dropped. This wasn't a prison, it was a damn bedroom, with the bed, the windows and everything. It was certainly bigger than what I expected. What I was used to."This would be your
NyxI prayed for the ground to split open and swallow me whole. That would be an easier punishment than having Vesper cut off a pound of my flesh.I can't fight her. As much as I hate to admit it, Vesper is the strongest she-wolf I've seen. Even with whatever new strength I've gotten, I still don't stand a chance against her. So I resorted to doing the one thing I know brings her satisfaction, begging."You can't... please." I never asked for the mark, never wanted it and I don't understand what's so special about it."Why? So you can keep flaunting the mark like a filthy whore that you are? That's not happening." My chest tightened in fear, not by her words but the determination in them."Please I never wanted..."She gripped my chin with so much force I couldn't yank my face away. Her nails dug into my skin. Actually, her claws. My heart was slamming against my chest so loud it earned a satisfied smirk from her."A worthless stray like you shouldn't be bearing the mark of a king. My
Nyx Whatever trance we were in shattered the moment Vesper started walking towards us. Kyrell released my arm and faced Vesper. She wrapped her arms around him. He let her."I'm glad you're doing okay." Her voice was smooth and soft, contrary to how I remembered. Kyrell brushed the hair off her face. That action stirred something in my chest. I blamed it on the mark."Heard you led the operation yourself, Luna." His voice was calm, composed and a bit too formal. Vesper smiled at him before he moved to join his men. When she finally turned her attention to me, her eyes blazed with fury. I've never seen her look so terrifying. She walked towards me, and before I could blink, her slap cut across my cheek, sending my face to the side. The pain didn't sting like I was used to, but it still drew blood in my mouth."You worthless being," she spat. "You dare try to escape?" I swallowed the blood in my mouth and raised my head slowly to look at her."And almost had your Alpha killed, putting
Kyrell Third person povKyrell stood in front of the full length mirror in his walk-in closet buttoning up his shirt. The closet was probably the size of a standard bedroom yet the feeling of suffocation had not left him. He picked up his suit jacket, sweeping his arms into it as he walked out to
NyxIt's been two days since I got slammed against the wall, but the students won't stop laughing and whispering as I walk to my locker. It doesn't matter if I'm the Beta's daughter or human. Teenagers can be assholes, especially werewolves who believe strength is everything."Hey girl." Mira waves
Nyx povIs there a limit to the weird things that can happen to me? Moon goddess, just give me a break already. Something about this man sends chills down my skin, and I'm not about to stand here and find out what that is. I dust off my soiled dress and turn to leave."Who touched you?" His deep ba
Nyx I thought I was running but I wasn't. My head was bleeding but I felt the pain in my feet. I found my way to the woods at the back of the school, half falling and walking. The trees shielded me from prying eyes.My mind drifted back to the gold pair of eyes I saw earlier. Or was I imagining th
