LOGINSee I'm really doing this, no backing out again, I said to myself as I walked into my apartment. This apartment was a wedding gift from mother. She'd insisted I kept it a secret, so I could sneak there whenever I needed a break from my husband. At first I'd being against it. Why would I need a break from Alex he was the perfect husband. Now I'm glad I listened to mother.
The apartment was on the outskirt of town, a two bedroom flat. As I waited for my male escort to arrive, I scanned through the contract I'd prepared. A one month contract. Alex had said he was staying for a month after all so I could as well have him for a month.
My train of thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door bell. I walked to the door, making sure it was the person I was expecting through the video doorbell, heaving a deep sigh before opening the door.
My breath hitched as soon as I came face to face with him. He stood there in an all black outfit, hands in his pocket, lazily leaning against the wall with a calm look. He was breath-taking for a moment I forgot what I wanted to say.
"May I come in?" He asked politely and I regained my composure, opening the door wider and making way for him to step inside, the moment he did, my living room suddenly felt smaller because he was about 6'2 feet tall_ lean but muscular. Furthermore, he had this mysterious and domineering aura if I didn't know he was a gigolo I'd think he was a tycoon.
"I've drafted a contract, you go through it and see if there's anything you'd love to change or add," I went straight to the point, leading him to dinning table where the contract was laid out.
He took a seat beside me, his gaze lingering on me for some seconds before he picked up the contract. My gaze remained on him as he read the contract, tracing his facial features_ A perfectly defined jawline, a straight nose, long eyelashes everything about the man was perfect _ Angel like. He could be a model or an actor if he wanted companies would line up to have a face like his, why did he chose this type of work instead?
I looked away quickly when he caught me staring and awkwardly cleared my throat.
"Is there anything you'd like to add or anything that you want to change."
"No," he answered as he signed both copies of the contract.
There were few rules in the contract. He was only mine for a month. Secondly, my identity must be kept a secret during and after our affair. I didn't add no falling in love because I knew he must've met many beautiful woman in his line of work, he certainly wouldn't fall me.
Taking my own copy of the contract, I tucked it inside my pulse before handing him the other copy.
"I'm Ayanna, what's your name?" I asked.
He glanced up before speaking.
"My name is Rain."
"Rain," I repeated, looking back at him and smiling. "You have a beautiful name Rain."
His eyes gleamered and his lips slowly curved in an angelic smile. "I'm glad you think so," as he spoke, there was this intense look in his eyes. It made me nervous for some reason. Looking away I cleared my throat
"Uhmm, forgive me for acting rude before I was just going through something," I leaned in closer to him, raising my hand to his face to trace his eyebrow, his nose then his lips.
"Do you forgive me?"
He leaned forward also, closing the gap between us. He gave me a heated look, his gaze trailing from my eyes to my lips. Slowly, he pressed his lips against mine and when he pulled away he said
"I could never hold a grudge against you, Ayanna."
For a moment, I was stunned by the way my name rolled off his tongue with such familiarity but I shrugged it off. Casting my gaze to my phone as it began to ring. The phone was close to Rain so he picked it up to hand it over to me. I could've sworn I saw a sinister glint flash through his gaze when he looked at screen but it disappeared as soon as it came. The moment I accepted the phone from him, my smile disappeared and a heavy feeling gripped my heart. It was Alex calling. I hesitated for a while before pressing the answer button.
"Honey," his voice came from the other side of the phone and I immediately felt nauseous knowing that he was with Kate right now. "I miss you so much already. Wish I could be with you right now."
I almost scoffed at his blatant lies. Both him and Kate were probably laughing at my expense. Nevertheless, he wasn't the only one good at playing game anymore. Raising from my seat, I placed a gentle kiss on Rain's lip then climbed onto his lap so that I was straddling him.
"Oh hubby, I missed you too. I wish you were here with me."
I inhaled sharply, biting my lips as Rain placed a wet kiss on my neck, nibbling on my sensitive spot. While one of his hands smolder my ass, he used the other to gently caress my breast through my dress.
"Could you come home sooner hubby, life is so boring without you... Ahh."
I gasped as Rain bit my nipple sending a mixture of pain and pleasure. He gave me an innocent look when I glared at him in disbelief. But slowly his lips curved into a wicked smirk. His gaze holding mine as he unbuttoned my dress, leaning down to take my nipple into his mouth.
"What's that honey? Is someone else there with you?" Alex voice came just as I inhaled sharply, trying my best to stop myself from moaning out loud.
"Oh, who else would I be with hubby. Anyway I'm quite busy now. Talk to you later." I hung up the call before he could reply.
ALEX Ayanna's chauffeur dropped her off in front of the Elite hotel. One of the many hotels belonging to the Blackwell's. I didn't want to jump to conclusion that she was meeting with Rain Blackwell just because she came to one of the Blackwell's hotel. It could be someone else, a friend, a client yet I couldn't shake the initial feeling off.Dressed in a backless red silk dress that clung to her body like a second skin, Ayanna drew the attention of all those who passed by as she gracefully walked into the hotel. My phone beeped just then and I looked the message that appeared on it, not mine but Ayanna's message to the anonymous person she was meeting."I'm already here, see you in a minute."Rage surged through me as I read the message, my grip tightening on the stirring wheel until my knuckles turned white. I desperately hoped my intuition was wrong, that Ayanna wasn't cheating on me. The mere thought ignited an unadulterated rage. That she was no longer useful to me didn't make i
ALEX What the f*ck. This place was creepy as hell. An abandoned warehouse at the outskirt of town. It was hidden in a maze of trees I wouldn't have found it if not for the use of GPS. Who the hell was this psychopath who knew about my affair with Kate and what did he want? Why make me come all the way to a place like this?I parked my car in front of the warehouse, heaving a sigh as I slowly stepped out. My legs trembled as I walked and adrenaline course through me at the thought of finally meeting whoever this person was. I'd come alone like the anonymous person instructed but I'd shared my location with Kate just in case.Distant howl echoed through the forest and I trembled in fear increasing my pace toward the warehouse. The door swung open with a shriek when I pushed it and I flinched, glancing around before I walked in. The places was empty, except for the table which sat at the middle of the room with a single lit candle which dimly illuminated the place. The anonymous person
RAINmy expression changed the moment I arrived at grandfather's mansion. Though the dinner was supposed to be by 8.pm I came by 9.pm. purposely delaying to avoid much of the family drama. Heaving a sigh, I walked into the house. Their loud voices welcomed me even before I got to the dining hall."That arrogant brat, he has absolutely no regard for us his elders. Everyone was here by eight except him. If he can't even respect us now, what happens when he finally wears the crown," that high pitched annoying voice belonged to Vivian Blackwell, my second aunt. She was maniputive. Always looking for ways to remove me as the heir of the Blackwell family and give it to her son even though he wasn't a Blackwell."You do make a good point Vivian_ once I wear the crown as the head of the Blackwell family, the first thing I'll do is strip off your right to the Blackwell name. You're married now, you should take your husband's name, stop clinging to the Blackwell name so desperately. Secondly I
"Mr.Blackwell, it is said in your file that you have an unhealthy obsession with a married woman."She looked up for the file with a curious expression and I shrugged."It's not an unhealthy obsession. It's more like an intense obsession and love for her. I desire to claim her for myself, to protect her even if it means killing the bastard she calls her husband. I'd say the urge to kill him grows each day. I sometimes find myself fantasizing over it," I smiled sadistically as I spoke. Suddenly this therapy session didn't seem so absurd I now had someone to share my sinister intentions with. She observed me for a while, an unreadable expression on her face."I'd like it if you address me as Margaret, going forward. she finally broke the silence. "How about you tell me more about this woman, when and how did you meet her?"I thought back to the time I met Ayanna. You probably thought it was the night she approached me at the club. However Ayanna and I met long before that, I was probab
After I left the room I returned to the guest room where Ayanna was, kissed her forehead and lips before leaving....As soon as I walked into my living room, I found Mason sitting on the couch, he slowly glanced up at me, disapproval written all over his face. I get him, it was almost 4 a.m and I was just coming back home after visiting a lover."I'll schedule you an appointment with a therapist to help with your unhealthy obsession," Was all he said before sauntering off to his quarters.Heaving a sigh, I threw myself into the nearest couch. Could my obsession really be cured? Perhaps I should give it a try. I pushed the thought aside as I pulled the spare phone I bought recently from my pocket. It had a chip installed in it to make every call and text untraceable.I smiled sinisterly as I typed a message pressing send before closing my eyes to sleep.Morning came in a flash, I groaned as I stood up, the aroma of food filling the air. I checked the time on my phone, it was 7.am. ju
I gently removed his hand from my shoulder, heaving a sigh as I turn to face him. "Not tonight Alex, I had a long day but go take a quick shower and come, I'll put you to sleep."Reluctantly, he left and I breath a sigh of relief as I resumed drying my hair. By the time he came out of the bathroom I was in my pajamas sitting on the bed. As much as I wanted to sleep before he came, I couldn't bring myself to, not when he was after my life.I helped him dry his hair and helped him into his pajamas like I always do, then I pulled him to bed with me, making him rest his head on my thigh then I slowly massaged his head while humming a soft melody. I always did this. To him I was showing him affection, that may have been the case yet right now I was simply putting my enemy to sleep so I could sleep also. Once I heard his snores, I patted him several times to be sure he'd truly fallen asleep, carefully removing his head from my lap before leaving the room with my pillow. My phone beeped as
I stopped on my track, my heart beating in trepidation. She couldn't possibly know about my relationship with Rain Blackwell. Perhaps it was based on assumptions after Rain acted so familiar with me back there. That had to be it.Kate was just trying to rile me up so I'd fall right into her trap. B
My breath caught in my lungs as I turn toward the door, my gaze meeting his. What a coincidence? And what cruel game was fate playing with me.Rain Blackwell held my gaze for a while then his gaze moved to Alex. His expression suddenly darkened. The man who was with him was also familiar. He was t
I noticed him tense but that didn't stop me. "Such a bastard, he's married yet cheats on his wife. If he's not in love with his wife, why marry her in the first place. Whoever posted this pictures should've showed his face also."The hair stylist agreed with me by nodding her head. "He should be ca
AYANNA Alex said his parents wanted to have lunch with us. So here I was dressed in a kneel length, off-shoulder white dress and white shoes to match. My hair, neatly styled in a low bun then I wore gold earrings to match the gold necklace Rain had given to me.Though we had our chauffeur driving
