Ayanna's chauffeur dropped her off in front of the Elite hotel. One of the many hotels belonging to the Blackwell's. I didn't want to jump to conclusion that she was meeting with Rain Blackwell just because she came to one of the Blackwell's hotel. It could be someone else, a friend, a client yet I couldn't shake the initial feeling off.
Dressed in a backless red silk dress that clung to her body like a second skin, Ayanna drew the attention of all those who passed by as she gracefully walked into the hotel.
My phone beeped just then and I looked the message that appeared on it, not mine but Ayanna's message to the anonymous person she was meeting.
"I'm already here, see you in a minute."
Rage surged through me as I read the message, my grip tightening on the stirring wheel until my knuckles turned white. I desperately hoped my intuition was wrong, that Ayanna wasn't cheating on me. The mere thought ignited an unadulterated rage. That she was no longer useful to me didn't make it okay. She was better off dead than in another man's arms. This time I'd make sure truly died.
Before I could stop myself, I got out of my car, my heart racing as I trailed after her. I
"I want a room next to Ayanna," I walked up to the receptionist immediately Ayanna left, though my gaze lingered on the path she took.
The receptionist looked up, her brow knitted in a scowl before slowly relaxing into a smile.
"I know you, you're her husband. OMG...," she half yelled before clearing her throat and assuming a professional stance again. "I know how much you both adore each other, but I'm sorry Mr.Greyford you can't get a room beside your wife, the entire floor she's on have already been booked by our VVIP guest. Why not call her?"
"Oh...no no no," I waved my hand in dismissal.
"I want to surprise her. I don't want her to know I'm here, please keep it a secret," the lie slipped from my lips easily.
The receptionist nodded then took out a card. "Although you can't get a room on the same floor, you can get a room close by."
I made payments, filled in my information and accepted the card. As I walked away though curiosity crept over me, making me stop in my track. I hesitated then slowly walked back to the receptionist.
"Who's my wife meeting? I mean who booked the entire floor she's on."
Her smile faltered for a second, her brow furrowing suspiciously before her smile returned.
"That's confidential information Mr Greyford, I can't share it."
As I walked to my room, my mind wouldn't stop making up scenes of Ayanna in another man's arms. Ayanna loves me so much she won't cheat, perhaps I was over thinking and being paranoid. Maybe the anonymous person she was messaging was just a business partner or a friend.
I only sat in my room for a few minutes before deciding to go the floor Ayanna was on. I didn't care if it was booked, I had to know who she was meeting and what she was doing.
With that in mind I left my room.
The floor was quiet, no one in sight. A VVIP booked the entire floor which meant Ayanna and whoever it was ought to be in the suite. I could hear the sound of my heart beating as I raised my hand to knock on the door.
AYANNA
The suite was big_ as big as an apartment with a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and even a closet. And every furniture and even flower vase had intricate design that screamed of luxury.
Rain Blackwell was no where in sight, but the sound of water coming from the bathroom told me he was in there.
My leg carried me forward on instinct , my heart pounding loudly against my chest as I came to a stop before the half open bathroom door. Heat crawled up my cheek as my gaze fell on the naked man standing under the shower. He had his back to me, plus I'd taken off my shoes and tiptoed so he didn't notice. I know I looked like a pervert, sneak peeking at a man while his was bathing but I couldn't help it. My eyes trailed over his perfectly sculptured body, from his broad shoulder, gradually moving and stopping at the tattoo on his lower waist. It hadn't been there before. I know because I'd seen him naked multiple times, which meant he just got it.
Just as I move closer to study it, he whirled in my direction, his eyes locking with mine, a dark glint flickering in their debth.
Holding my gaze, his hand moved over his body, slow, deliberate and seductive.
I held my breath, my gaze following the movement of his hand, unable to stop myself even as he palmed his hardened cock.
"Like what you see," his voice carried a taunting edge. His lips curving into a smirk afterwards.
I met his gaze, my face probably burning with embarrassment as I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out.
"Come join me," he said, the taunting edge in his voice replaced by a seductive, inviting tone.
The invitation was certainly tempting but I resisted, hastily turning and fleeing. His laughter followed me as I escaped but I ignored it, dropping onto the couch with a heavy sigh. My mind wandered off to Alex and the supposed dinner date we were supposed to have tonight and also the police case I'd closed.
Was he suspicious? He didn't react as I thought he would when I told him the case was closed. He was too calm. Even last night, he didn't ask about Rain. My mind tells me his up to something but I couldn't figure out what.
A knock on the door pulled me back to reality. I glanced at the door and then the bathroom where Rain was still having a bath. Was he expecting someone? Perhaps it was just room service.
"Rain, there's someone at the door," I called out. Rain probably didn't hear me because no reply came from the bathroom. I stood, my feet moving toward the bathroom again but another knock echoed through the door, louder and more insistent than before. Abandoning the decision of asking Rain if he was expecting a guest, I turned, strolled to the door and swung it open.
"Alex..."

ALEX What the f*ck. This place was creepy as hell. An abandoned warehouse at the outskirt of town. It was hidden in a maze of trees I wouldn't have found it if not for the use of GPS. Who the hell was this psychopath who knew about my affair with Kate and what did he want? Why make me come all the way to a place like this?I parked my car in front of the warehouse, heaving a sigh as I slowly stepped out. My legs trembled as I walked and adrenaline course through me at the thought of finally meeting whoever this person was. I'd come alone like the anonymous person instructed but I'd shared my location with Kate just in case.Distant howl echoed through the forest and I trembled in fear increasing my pace toward the warehouse. The door swung open with a shriek when I pushed it and I flinched, glancing around before I walked in. The places was empty, except for the table which sat at the middle of the room with a single lit candle which dimly illuminated the place. The anonymous person
RAINmy expression changed the moment I arrived at grandfather's mansion. Though the dinner was supposed to be by 8.pm I came by 9.pm. purposely delaying to avoid much of the family drama. Heaving a sigh, I walked into the house. Their loud voices welcomed me even before I got to the dining hall."That arrogant brat, he has absolutely no regard for us his elders. Everyone was here by eight except him. If he can't even respect us now, what happens when he finally wears the crown," that high pitched annoying voice belonged to Vivian Blackwell, my second aunt. She was maniputive. Always looking for ways to remove me as the heir of the Blackwell family and give it to her son even though he wasn't a Blackwell."You do make a good point Vivian_ once I wear the crown as the head of the Blackwell family, the first thing I'll do is strip off your right to the Blackwell name. You're married now, you should take your husband's name, stop clinging to the Blackwell name so desperately. Secondly I
"Mr.Blackwell, it is said in your file that you have an unhealthy obsession with a married woman."She looked up for the file with a curious expression and I shrugged."It's not an unhealthy obsession. It's more like an intense obsession and love for her. I desire to claim her for myself, to protect her even if it means killing the bastard she calls her husband. I'd say the urge to kill him grows each day. I sometimes find myself fantasizing over it," I smiled sadistically as I spoke. Suddenly this therapy session didn't seem so absurd I now had someone to share my sinister intentions with. She observed me for a while, an unreadable expression on her face."I'd like it if you address me as Margaret, going forward. she finally broke the silence. "How about you tell me more about this woman, when and how did you meet her?"I thought back to the time I met Ayanna. You probably thought it was the night she approached me at the club. However Ayanna and I met long before that, I was probab
After I left the room I returned to the guest room where Ayanna was, kissed her forehead and lips before leaving....As soon as I walked into my living room, I found Mason sitting on the couch, he slowly glanced up at me, disapproval written all over his face. I get him, it was almost 4 a.m and I was just coming back home after visiting a lover."I'll schedule you an appointment with a therapist to help with your unhealthy obsession," Was all he said before sauntering off to his quarters.Heaving a sigh, I threw myself into the nearest couch. Could my obsession really be cured? Perhaps I should give it a try. I pushed the thought aside as I pulled the spare phone I bought recently from my pocket. It had a chip installed in it to make every call and text untraceable.I smiled sinisterly as I typed a message pressing send before closing my eyes to sleep.Morning came in a flash, I groaned as I stood up, the aroma of food filling the air. I checked the time on my phone, it was 7.am. ju
I gently removed his hand from my shoulder, heaving a sigh as I turn to face him. "Not tonight Alex, I had a long day but go take a quick shower and come, I'll put you to sleep."Reluctantly, he left and I breath a sigh of relief as I resumed drying my hair. By the time he came out of the bathroom I was in my pajamas sitting on the bed. As much as I wanted to sleep before he came, I couldn't bring myself to, not when he was after my life.I helped him dry his hair and helped him into his pajamas like I always do, then I pulled him to bed with me, making him rest his head on my thigh then I slowly massaged his head while humming a soft melody. I always did this. To him I was showing him affection, that may have been the case yet right now I was simply putting my enemy to sleep so I could sleep also. Once I heard his snores, I patted him several times to be sure he'd truly fallen asleep, carefully removing his head from my lap before leaving the room with my pillow. My phone beeped as
Now this is something new and incredibly juicy. I studied Jeffrey's expression since I was good at reading people to see if he was lying but he seemed to be telling the truth. "If you're lying to me James... " It's Jerry boss," Flex corrected again and I swear to literal Jesus I was seconds away
AYANNA Slowly my eyes peeled open. The first thing that came into view was a white celling then beeping sound and smell of disinfectant and medicine which told me I was in a hospital. Why....The question seized as memories came flooding into my mind. My car brakes, I toppled over a Cliff. Yet I
AYANNA I returned home at noon to pick some clothes for Alex only to meet a bunch of flower bouquet in my living. "What is this Alice?" I asked the house keeper who'd come to greet me. Looking at the beautiful white lilies. They was my favorite flower. "Ma'am it was sent earlier by an anonymous
AYANNA It was 9 am in the morning and Alex hadn't returned home since last night. I sat in the living room absent minded when I received a call. "Ayanna, come to the hospital your husband was assaulted," I frowned hearing the familiar voice. It was Kate. From the sound of her voice, I could tell
