Blaze POV

"You were meant to be protecting them," I roared at Calista, unable to hide my fury.

"I tried, and they shot me," Calista shot back. "We were in a public store, Blaze; it's not as though I could go full on wolf at them."

"Your knee is fine," I snapped as she glared at me, "and now we have no idea where Elise is. She could be hurt, or worse. Damnit, Calista, I never should have trusted you. I swear, if something happens to Elise, I'm not going to let you off."

She remained silent, kno

He needs to start listening to his sister and stop being so blind to Calista. His blindness is putting Elise in even more danger and because of that I wouldn’t want to be in that pack unless Calista was gone.

Third-Person POV"Was it you? Did you hurt Elise?" There was a look of pure disgust on his face and pure rage. She stilled, her eyes flashing with anger, her expression filled with derision. "You're just accusing me without proof? I'm not the one who has a sick obsession with her, Tristan. That's all you. Ever since Elise left with Alpha Blaze, you haven't been able to stop talking about her," she spat out, unable to hold back anymore. "Maybe because I didn't realize how useless you are," he sneered. "You're lazy, Seraphine. You've grown accustomed to living this wealthy lifestyle without contributing a single thing to it. You can't even delegate simple tasks to the omegas, and when was the last time you trained?" he demanded. "Anybody with half a brain can see that all that mattered to you was the position of Luna, and I was blind enough to give it to you."She gave a bitter laugh. "There it is. The comparison. What do you think Elise would have contributed? That fat bitch couldn

She could be hurt, or worse. Damnit, Calista, I never should have trusted you. I swear, if something happens to Elise, I'm not going to let you off."She remained silent, knowing whatever she said would further provoke me. I'd never been this furious at her. I should have arranged for more guards; I should have recognized the danger. I should have been there instead of dealing with pack business that could have waited for another day."Actually, we do know roughly which direction they took," Jackson said, clearing his throat from the driver's seat, "I just got word they took the back roads leading west. Our best men are tracking down surveillance cameras as we spe

Elise POV"Chloe, I'm exhausted. I just want to grab some shoes and go," I sighed, letting her lead me into the next store, my feet tired and aching. "Stop whinging so much, god," Calista quipped, wrinkling her nose. "Anybody would think you had run a marathon from the way you're complaining instead of shopping."She smirked at me and then sauntered to the far corner, surveying the handbags on offer as Chloe and I headed to the shoe section. "I swear to god I just want that woman to drop dead," Chloe muttered, picking up a pair of silver shoes and handing them to me to look at."When we get back to the packhouse, we won't have to talk to her," I told Chloe with a heavy exhale. I had to admit that Calista's snide remarks were getting to me. Even my patience was running thin. A gunshot sounded through the store, and I dropped the shoes, whirling around to see three gunmen entering the store with ski masks on. "Listen up, ladies," the tallest man stepped forward, holding his gun up

Elise POV"Let's just get this over with," Calista scowled, her expression mutinous. Chloe glared at her and then took my hand, leading me deeper into the mall, a look of excitement on her face. "Don't let her ruin this trip," she muttered. "I know the perfect place to go and find a dress for you," she exclaimed. She led me to a luxurious boutique, and I couldn't help but be intimidated as we walked in. A saleswoman looked us up and down, taking in our casual clothes and our figures, and instantly crinkled her nose. She approached Calista, who looked at us smugly. "May I help you?" she asked sweetly. "I need a designer dress, one that's formal and suits me perfectly," Calista said dismissively, her hand reaching into her purse and retrieving a gold card. "Of course, follow me." The saleswoman's eyes were practically glowing as she mentally calculated the commission she could get. "Um, excuse me, what about us?" Chloe snapped, "We also want some service.""Have a look and see i

  • The Alpha's Curvy Heart   Chapter 33: Infatuation

Blaze POVWe were late for breakfast the next morning. I didn't care. If I had my way, we would have spent the next few days in bed, thoroughly making love to one another and forgetting the outside world existed. I couldn't get enough of her. She was so soft, so perfect. She fit perfectly in my arms, and her scent was intoxicating, soothing my wolf. I pulled out her chair and saw my sister cast us both a sidelong glance, a delightful smile on her face. "About time you both did the deed. Elise, you look like you're glowing. In fact, you're glowing so brightly you could give a lighthouse a run for its money," she smirked. Elise turned bright red and choked on her food. Chloe patted her on the back without even breaking stride. "Chloe," I warned. She arched a brow at me. "What?" she asked sweetly. "It's hardly a secret, Blaze. The wide grin on your face, the swollen lips Elise has, and those loud noises that you both made last night," she sighed, "it was enough to make me regret be

Elise POVI stared at Blaze, dazed, as he stood up and began to pull his clothes off. I swallowed hard as I took in the muscles rippling in his abdomen, the golden honey skin, the long length of his legs, and then the most alarming part of all, the sheer size of his cock. It was huge. Fear swept over me as I wondered if he would even fit. Part of me could only imagine he would rip me apart when we came together. He saw my hesitation as he climbed back onto the bed. He leaned over and kissed the nape of my neck, his hands caressing my sides, his movements slow and gentle. "I got you, babygirl, I promise," he murmured into my ear. My body relaxed despite itself. He moved down my body, kissing, stroking, worshiping me in ways I could never have dreamed. I was a soaking-wet mess by the time I felt him at my entrance. I tensed. He slowly pushed inside, his jaw clenched."Relax, sweetheart," he told me, his eyes fixated on my face, "relax, babygirl."I exhaled and forced my walls to s

Elise POV My fingers are raw from all the scrubbing. It’s already past ten pm, and the list of chores to complete seems never-ending and that’s on top of a day spent working in the packhouse. Thankfully, Tristan never did punish me for what occurred in the study but I’d spent all day looking over

Blaze POVI couldn’t take my eyes off her. She was like an angel descended from heaven.
