MasukAlpha Soren McIntosh’s pov
Storming into my home office, I growled sternly in frustration, “Why are there Vaewolves in my pack?!” My Beta Jax shook his head at me, then said, “You killed the girl's father and all the other hybrids, sir. But the vampires are still breeding with the wolves, and if they are mates, you can't stop it.” “Bullshit,” I snarled as my fist pounded on my desk, “Hybrids should NOT exist!” Jax exhaled slowly as he poured two glasses of my expensive bourbon. Handing me a glass, he said, “I don't believe that all of them are like Marietta, Alpha. You can't punish an entire species over the one that broke your heart.” My eyes burned into him as I curled my lip sourly at his words. No one brought up my ex-mate and lived, besides him. Shrugging, he added, “Plus you've got to keep Devan out of the union with her.” And that was a problem. My son was a hybrid but didn't gain the extra entity like a true Vaewolf. He was just stronger and more gifted than the rest of his peers. “I think his having Nathan as a close friend has kept any issues at bay. He has taught him how to drink blood from forest animals,” I commented after draining my liquor. My office door opened slightly, and I saw my son peeking inside. “Dad? What are you going to do about the girl on the post, and why is she up there being whipped again?” I glanced over at my beta, and he clenched his teeth before excusing himself. “Go on and explain it to your son; I'm going to check on the livestock,” Jax growled. “Tell the guards to take the girl to the northern border. At least there she will be tempted by the human populace,” I huffed, then told my son to take a seat. “What did you really want to ask me, Devan?” He looked at me with intelligent dark eyes and asked me directly why we hated the Vaewolf. “Why did the Moon Goddess create them if they're all bad?” Rubbing my eyes as images of his treacherous mother flashed in my mind made me growl low in my throat. “Because Vaewolves have two mates. One for each of their entities. They are cold and emotionless creatures,” I answered sternly, giving him pause. “Is that the reason you remove them from the pack?” Thrumming my fingers on my desk, I made an annoyed grunt and said, “Vaewolf are rogue and don't assimilate to a pack. They follow their own rules and follow their own drum beats. Now enough about them. Go train with the guards and take your pal Nathan, or go to the village bar and have a drink,” I stated. As he stood, he smiled. “So Nathan's cool because he is just a vampire and you don't want to share your good liquor.” Nodding, I chuckled and told him that was it exactly. Then I watched him head out of my office. Retrieving my bourbon, I topped off my glass and furrowed my brow. “I will keep the Vaewolves away from my pure pack, no matter if I have to kill them all off myself,” I swore to the empty air and downed my second drink. Out my window, I watched my guards drag the young female. She was kicking and scratching as they started to haul her towards the north of my land. “Good riddance to rubbish,” I snorted before pouring myself another glassful.Kiara Robertson's pov “What about your prostitutes and the pack redhead that follows you everywhere?” I questioned Devan with a curled lip and raised eyebrow. Of course, he started his excuse with a man having carnal needs that needed to be met. “Plus, I don't know how you know about Isabella; she's the daughter of the neighboring Alpha. My father set that up, and she is not my fated mate.” Stepping closer to him, I hissed as I growled, “My fated mate won't need to be pleased outside of our bed and will remain loyal to me and me alone.” “A Vaewolf has two mates, Kiara. What two men will be okay with you mating with the other?” He asked. Giving him a seductive grin, I purred, “There's enough of me to please them both at the same time if needed, as I have multiple holes.” Watching his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed uncomfortably, I gave him a wink when he asked if I gave head. Smelling his heightened arousal pheromones, I laughed internally. Sure, I was curious
Kiara Robertson's pov Snarling, I was ripped from Nathan as Devan whipped me around, then slammed me against his hard chest. “You let her escape! I should be the one keeping her by my side.” “What are you doing, Dev?! You're holding her too tightly, and she is mine,” Nathan stated, causing me to furrow my brow and jerk away from Devan. “I am NOBODY'S plaything,” I hissed bitterly, then added threateningly, “If you keep grabbing me, I'm going to kiss you.” Huffing, Devan snapped, “I'd like to see you try, little lady.” Grinning, I reached up, grabbed him forcibly by the back of the neck, and planted a hot one on his mouth. My eyes widened at the fangs he had inside his mouth. Their presence confused me as he attempted to deepen the kiss, but I shoved him back. “Why do you have permanent fangs?” I questioned sternly. Hearing laughter, I glanced at Nathan with confusion. “Devan is a hybrid and a blood drinker,” he snickered while I screwed my face and cursed. “He i
Kiara Robertson's pov “Devan, let me take her since we have already introduced ourselves to each other, quite intimately,” Nathan stated while I eyed him in bafflement. Pulling on the silver, I clenched my teeth as he drew near and said huskily, “I'm not finished with bedding you yet.” Growling at us both, Devan waved us off and said, “You're responsible for keeping an eye on her and making sure she doesn't escape. We will transport her back to the Shadowpack in the morning to face my father. For now, let's head back to our motel room and get some rest.” Nathan snickered and said while wiggling his eyebrows, “Don't worry, Devan, after I'm done with her, she will be lucky to be able to walk.” I eyed him warily, and Devan rolled his eyes, then turned away from us in a huff before ordering him to grab me and follow after him. “As if I had a choice,” I growled sourly, only to have Nathan pull me to his side and smile widely. “Creepy,” I spat as the three of us headed toward
Kiara Robertson pov My pants were pulled from my lower half, and I sighed as the cool night air touched my hot, damp cunt. “Damn, you are a prize, little lady,” Nathan snarled as he grabbed my ankles and easily flipped me over. “You're strong,” I purred while he ran his tongue up my calves, sending jolts of desire coursing to my core. It was so much more intense than I had ever felt, causing my curiosity to be piqued. When he bit my inner thigh, I bared my fangs back at him as my eyes narrowed at his. Gripping my hips, I was pulled back as the head of his enormous cock prodded my eager entrance. Normally I was the one who initiated, and having a man dominate me was tantalizing and new. Filling me with one powerful thrust, my eyes rolled back into my skull as I let out a long, satisfied moan of pleasure. Nathan wasted no time on pleasantries and buried his fingers into my sides to hold me while he pumped. Running his tongue up my spine, goosebumps followed, and I ca
Kiara Robertson pov It took me five years to travel across three states. I went rogue, and I have just finished my hunt. The sex had been mediocre. My hunger always overcame my orgasm, leaving me unfulfilled and pissy. After I drained all of my prey's blood, my wolf consumed his remains, leaving me stuffed, naked, bloody, and cold on the forest floor. Wiping his blood from my mouth, I chuckled, “Human men are so easy and trusting.” Raksha, my wolf, howled in laughter in my mind while my inner vampire, Morgana, pffted at her in annoyance. “You need to do something with the remains,” her voice came like the wind. Curling my lip, I glanced out at the dark forest and sighed. “I'm good; these are my feeding grounds, and they haven't been discovered yet.” Which was surprising, since I was mere yards from a truck stop, a bar connected to a motel, and a diner. The lot lizards were aplenty around here and great for me to blend in with while I hunted. Counting the cash I
