Kiara Robertson pov

It took me five years to travel across three states. I went rogue, and I have just finished my hunt.

The sex had been mediocre. My hunger always overcame my orgasm, leaving me unfulfilled and pissy.

After I drained all of my prey's blood, my wolf consumed his remains, leaving me stuffed, naked, bloody, and cold on the forest floor.

Wiping his blood from my mouth, I chuckled, “Human men are so easy and trusting.”

Raksha, my wolf, howled in laughter in my mind while my inner vampire, Morgana, pffted at her in annoyance.

“You need to do something with the remains,” her voice came like the wind.

Curling my lip, I glanced out at the dark forest and sighed.

“I'm good; these are my feeding grounds, and they haven't been discovered yet.”

Which was surprising, since I was mere yards from a truck stop, a bar connected to a motel, and a diner.

The lot lizards were aplenty around here and great for me to blend in with while I hunted.

Counting the cash I had jacked from Mister Picked Bones, I frowned.

“I'm still twenty short of the cost of a motel room. Guess I'm washing up in the river again,” I groaned as I crumpled the bills in my hand.

Tilting my head to smell my armpits, I frowned.

“My next meal will have to be an ambush. I stink too much to attract a guy with my attributes,” I murmured sourly as I headed to the narrow river further in my refuge and my hidden campsite.

The small town of Granger was only a couple of miles away, and I had been tempted to seek work, but both my wolf and vampire convinced me to be a nomad.

“If I had an income, I could get an apartment and wouldn't have to eat human,” I said softly with an added burp that turned me pale from the disgusting taste.

“Sorry, I ate a little of his organ meat,” my wolf informed me.

Rolling my eyes, I decided then that I would head into town and find a job.

“I have warned you repeatedly not to consume anything internal; it's disgusting,” I muttered while I stepped into the current and let the river wash my sins away.

Once I was done, I stood on the bank and wrung out my wet hair by twisting it.

I grabbed my clothes and then put on a flannel shirt and jeans.

As I buttoned up my pants, I heard a twig snap and narrowed my eyes into the forest, my ears perking up as well.

“Hushed whispers of two men,” Raksha grunted as I pocketed my knife and the few bills I had.

Scanning my campsite, I smirked.

“I'm just a chick out enjoying the outdoors,” I murmured.

“That is stupid,” Morgana huffed, and pinching my mouth, I looked at the tree and then started to climb.

Situated against the tree trunk and straddling a branch, I watched the ground beneath me. I could clearly see two dark forms coming closer.

“You can take them both,” my wolf growled as my full stomach protested.

Shaking my head, I told her that I would simply observe.

I then tried to back into the tree while lifting my legs when one of the guys below asked the other if he smelled the blood or the cryptid attached.

“They are cryptid hunters, shit,” I thought in concern as I tucked my legs against myself to appear smaller.

Believing I was in the clear, I gasped at the handsome blonde jumping to the branch I was on and hissing at me with narrow red vampire eyes.

“Oh hell no,” I growled, then jumped to the next tree branch, then another as I continued forward to the human gas station where they would have to back off.

The man below, a dark, attractive werewolf, growled for me to halt, and I laughed as I raced onward.

The male vampire grabbed me and grinned as he fell backward from the branch and landed flat on his back on the ground below.

My air escaped my lungs as I struggled against his hold. Soon his scent filled my nostrils, and I instantly felt ignited within.

Irritated with myself, I turned in his embrace and gave him a hard look.

"No way in hell, it cannot be. Is this fine specimen Nathan Hill?" I thought aghast as he pressed his erection against me.

I barred my fangs, knowing exactly what the fanged fella wanted.

Rubbing my tits against him, I lean forward and kissed him on the lips.

I giggled at seeing his eyes widen, then close as his mouth moved with mine aggressively.

Vampire mating was brutal, and it had been ages since I'd been fucked by one.

My shirt was torn from me as his mouth moved down my neck.

“Oh, thank the Goddess I am going to finally reach an orgasm,” I thought as I rubbed myself against his hardness.

“Since you can stop yourself from getting preggers, get it girl,” Raksha chuckled in my mind as I moaned wantonly.

“So mister, are you gonna introduce yourself and your friend?”

I asked as I licked my fangs and stared seductively at him.

“Hey, before you fornicate, could you ask her if she's responsible for the corpses or knows what rogue is?” Devan demanded.

“That stick in the mud is Devan McIntosh, and I am the charming Nathan Hill. We are searching for the one responsible for consuming the humans in this area because the Moon Council is concerned, and so is our Alpha, but for other reasons, ” he explained nonchalantly.

Portraying innocence, I shrugged in his embrace and told him I had no idea, as I had just gotten to the area and made camp.

“Oh, so you don't have a coven?”

Swallowing nervously, I shook my head at not having a vampire coven.

“My parents died, and I'm headed to relatives across the country,” I lied.

His eyes were still full of desire, and I was certain mine were too, but I couldn't understand why the need to mate with him was so strong.

Of course, he started his excuse with a man having carnal needs that needed to be met. “Plus, I don't know how you know about Isabella; she's the daughter of the neighboring Alpha. My father set that up, and she is not my fated mate.” Stepping closer to him, I hissed as I growled, “My fated mate won't need to be pleased outside of our bed and will remain loyal to me and me alone.” “A Vaewolf has two mates, Kiara. What two men will be okay with you mating with the other?” He asked. Giving him a seductive grin, I purred, “There's enough of me to please them both at the same time if needed, as I have multiple holes.” Watching his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed uncomfortably, I gave him a wink when he asked if I gave head. Smelling his heightened arousal pheromones, I laughed internally. Sure, I was curious

Kiara Robertson's pov Snarling, I was ripped from Nathan as Devan whipped me around, then slammed me against his hard chest. “You let her escape! I should be the one keeping her by my side.” “What are you doing, Dev?! You're holding her too tightly, and she is mine,” Nathan stated, causing me to furrow my brow and jerk away from Devan. “I am NOBODY'S plaything,” I hissed bitterly, then added threateningly, “If you keep grabbing me, I'm going to kiss you.” Huffing, Devan snapped, “I'd like to see you try, little lady.” Grinning, I reached up, grabbed him forcibly by the back of the neck, and planted a hot one on his mouth. My eyes widened at the fangs he had inside his mouth. Their presence confused me as he attempted to deepen the kiss, but I shoved him back. “Why do you have permanent fangs?” I questioned sternly. Hearing laughter, I glanced at Nathan with confusion. “Devan is a hybrid and a blood drinker,” he snickered while I screwed my face and cursed. “He i

Kiara Robertson's pov “Devan, let me take her since we have already introduced ourselves to each other, quite intimately,” Nathan stated while I eyed him in bafflement. Pulling on the silver, I clenched my teeth as he drew near and said huskily, “I'm not finished with bedding you yet.” Growling at us both, Devan waved us off and said, “You're responsible for keeping an eye on her and making sure she doesn't escape. We will transport her back to the Shadowpack in the morning to face my father. For now, let's head back to our motel room and get some rest.” Nathan snickered and said while wiggling his eyebrows, “Don't worry, Devan, after I'm done with her, she will be lucky to be able to walk.” I eyed him warily, and Devan rolled his eyes, then turned away from us in a huff before ordering him to grab me and follow after him. “As if I had a choice,” I growled sourly, only to have Nathan pull me to his side and smile widely. “Creepy,” I spat as the three of us headed toward

Kiara Robertson pov My pants were pulled from my lower half, and I sighed as the cool night air touched my hot, damp cunt. “Damn, you are a prize, little lady,” Nathan snarled as he grabbed my ankles and easily flipped me over. “You're strong,” I purred while he ran his tongue up my calves, sending jolts of desire coursing to my core. It was so much more intense than I had ever felt, causing my curiosity to be piqued. When he bit my inner thigh, I bared my fangs back at him as my eyes narrowed at his. Gripping my hips, I was pulled back as the head of his enormous cock prodded my eager entrance. Normally I was the one who initiated, and having a man dominate me was tantalizing and new. Filling me with one powerful thrust, my eyes rolled back into my skull as I let out a long, satisfied moan of pleasure. Nathan wasted no time on pleasantries and buried his fingers into my sides to hold me while he pumped. Running his tongue up my spine, goosebumps followed, and I ca

Alpha Soren McIntosh’s pov Storming into my home office, I growled sternly in frustration, “Why are there Vaewolves in my pack?!” My Beta Jax shook his head at me, then said, “You killed the girl's father and all the other hybrids, sir. But the vampires are still breeding with the wolves, and if they are mates, you can't stop it.” “Bullshit,” I snarled as my fist pounded on my desk, “Hybrids should NOT exist!” Jax exhaled slowly as he poured two glasses of my expensive bourbon. Handing me a glass, he said, “I don't believe that all of them are like Marietta, Alpha. You can't punish an entire species over the one that broke your heart.” My eyes burned into him as I curled my lip sourly at his words. No one brought up my ex-mate and lived, besides him. Shrugging, he added, “Plus you've got to keep Devan out of the union with her.” And that was a problem. My son was a hybrid but didn't gain the extra entity like a true Vaewolf. He was just stronger and more gifted tha
