Lucas' POV I pulled my car up to the front of the police precinct, parked in an empty spot near the entrance, and killed the engine. I sat there for a few seconds, looking at the stone building. Everything was quiet on the outside, but I knew that Gabriella and the rest were inside. I stepped out of the car, shut the door, and walked straight through the main entrance toward the back hallway. Detective Miller, the detective in charge of the investigation, was waiting near the door of the observation room, holding a paper coffee cup.
