Sarah stood at the window watching the rain streak down the glass. It had been pouring all day, the kind of gray weather that made the apartment feel smaller and warmer at the same time. Damien’s arms were wrapped around her from behind, his big hands resting low on her stomach. His chin rested on her shoulder, breath warm against her neck. Six weeks.
