MAYA’S POV The training ground was already loud when I arrived. The sound of fists meeting flesh filled the air, that was bound to happen here. Some werewolves had shifted into partial wolf forms. “Lycan Rasmus said he’d be on the training ground waiting for you.” A maid said those words to me just as I was about to have breakfast. I had no other choice but to ditch breakfast and make my way here without hesitation. This was not my favorite place to be, and Lycan Rasmus was aware of that. MAYA’S POV “I can’t remember agreeing to this,” I protested. Successfully, Lycan Rasmus had helped me in putting on an apron. He also had one on. DAMIEN’S POV I told Kendra to do all of this on her own, but she insisted on involving me in every part of the process. If she wanted company, she could have picked one of the domestic workers to do all of this with her. Her parents wanted something loud, something that would be the talk of the packs, but it wasn't the same with me. I tried to talk to Kendra, but she was clearly on her parents' side. MAYA’S POV Both of my eyes were on him while he slept like a baby. He looked so peaceful while asleep, and I could watch him sleep all night.
