Life is a series of surprises, and the world of "My Hero Academia" is no different. But not to worry, Bakugosa Katsuki isn't one of the casualties yet. As far as the recent chapters can tell us, the king of explosions is still alive and well, with his usual impetuous, fiery passion stirring up some trouble or other day in and day out. Does not logic dictate that in ACGN where only death can permanently put a character out of business unless there is a display for "Rest in Peace" at the end of manga chapter, we should hold our high hopes?

If you are familiar with the character of 'My Hero Academia' Shota Aizawa, I am relieved to tell you that thanks to the latest developments in the anime and manga, he is as yet alive today. Known as Eraser Head, Aizawa has encountered a fair share of life-threatening situations and nearly kicked the bucket more than once. As a professional hero, he often finds himself in tight situations because of the particular quirk he has: the ability to erase most types of quirks. Moreover, his work as a mentor to the students at UA High School tacks on further peril.

Playful nature spurred by youthful zest, I indulge in 'My Hero Academia' where Tomura Shigaraki has an intriguing story but his destiny is undefined as of now. The manga hasn't released any information on Shigaraki facing his demise. Throughout the series, we notice him growing as a villain, which makes it even more exciting to envision what fate holds for him.

In 'My Hero Academia', Shigaraki Tomura, also known as Tenko Shimura, is not Izuku Midoriya's (Deku's) brother. They don't share any blood relationship. However, they share an intense and complicated relationship towards each other due to their opposing views and goals. Shigaraki, being AFO's successor and Deku, having inherited OFA, have become rivals. Even though they are not brothers, they, ironically, have parallel and mirrored narrative arcs in the story.

Last time I checked, no, Bakugo Katsuki from 'My Hero Academia' didn't meet his maker. That explosive and fiery hero is still kicking and causing a ruckus in the series.

If you're talking about 'Deku', or Izuku Midoriya from 'My Hero Academia', no, he does not die. As the protagonist of the series and the holder of 'One For All', believe me, it'd be a major shocker if he actually did! That's the beauty of shonen manga, they keep those main characters pretty safe.

Fans of 'My Hero Academia' know that Katsuki Bakugo is a central character and his fiery personality is a significant draw for many. Despite a few close encounters throughout the action-packed series, as of the current updates, Bakugo is still alive and kicking, much to the delight of those who revel in his combative spirit and determined stance. He has a pivotal role in the plot development, so his survival is integral to the ongoing narrative.

Yep, Bakugo, everyone's favorite hot-headed hero from 'My Hero Academia', is very much alive. He's dodged many near-death experiences with his explosive abilities and fierce determination. Gotta love his unyielding spirit!

Man, the My Hero Academia fandom still debates this one! Shigaraki definitely wanted to kill Overhaul after their messy alliance fell apart, but canon leaves it deliciously ambiguous. In the manga, we see a bloody handprint on the wall where Overhaul was last seen, implying Shigaraki decayed something—but Horikoshi never shows the body. Some fans think Overhaul might return as a Nomu experiment, while others argue the handprint’s placement suggests he just lost his remaining limbs. The anime added that creepy post-credits scene with the mysteriously bandaged figure, which fuels the conspiracy theories. Personally? I think Shigaraki absolutely would’ve finished him off—he’s not one to leave loose ends—but the narrative wiggle room makes it fun to speculate.
What really fascinates me is how this mirrors Shigaraki’s growth. Early seasons? He’d throw a tantrum and dust someone impulsively. By this arc, he’s calculating enough to exploit Overhaul’s quirk-erasing bullets before disposing of him. Whether or not the kill was 'confirmed,' that moment showed how terrifyingly methodical he’d become.
