“It’s about you not being able to accept that someone else might step forward without your approval.” The words struck with precision, but I maintained my composure. “I don’t need to approve your existence,” I said calmly. “I already accepted it.” Ivan went still for a brief moment, his reaction subtle but noticeable. “Accepted,” he repeated. “Yes,” I said. “But acceptance isn’t the same as trust,” he added. “No,” I replied. “It isn’t.” Silence followed again, longer this time, more deliberate. Ivan nodded slowly. “As long as we’re clear.”

“I trust that. And I wouldn’t either. I am just asking you not to give me a reason to do so.” “I rejected you,” I said. “You heard me. I asked you to accept the rejection.” “I did,” he replied. “And believe me, it was annoying. My wolf didn’t like any more than I did.” Despite myself, my brow furrowed. “But the rejection didn’t take, it gave a little ache… it just didn’t really take place.” he went on. “Not where we were. The forest there is a void ground. Bonds don’t settle properly in places like that. Acceptance or rejection, both can fail to anchor. And most of the time they just flash away.”

I snapped and suddenly I was pushed into an empty classroom. "You know that we would be great together." Wolf whispered in my ear as he slid close to me. "No. You would be controlling and overprotective. It wouldn't be healthy." I argued pushing him away. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "You can't deny that you want me too. I would change for you. I just want you to be happy." he began but I knew that it wouldn't work. "I know that you think that, but we both know that it isn't true. You can't change who you are. Neither can I.I said but I didn't stop him from pulling me into a hug and allowed him to kiss my neck.

“You right Fenris. The thing is - no one has ever rejected me. I’ve heard all manner of guys approach me for marriage. I rejected them - waiting for my fated mate. And now I met him. But he is not feeling me. I don’t know what to - I’m confused.” “You already know what to do, Quinn. Marry him at your peril.”

I just accepted it. Implicitly.

Like how Kimberly's yelling is about to damage my precious eardrums. I would love to reject Jake, to be honest. At least that's one problem aside, the mate bond won't interfere with my thinking and reasoning. But we already know what happens even after rejection. Nothing. Nothing happens. Instead, the bond between us weakens, only to get stinger as time passes. Should I reject him this time? I mean when the bond is weak, it won't work properly. I walked slowly to where Alex was standing but Peace stopped me in the midway. "where do you think you are going?" "to greet Alex?" "No can do" "He has his gaze fixed on me." "then let him watch. for no reason would you leave Andrew waiting just because of Alex." Quick one. you probably think Peace is a hypocrite right? no, she's not. she doesn't care about what made sense or not. all she cares about is my happiness and if Andrew looks like someone who would make me happy then Alex can get lost. That is how it has always been with Peace.

Sara looks back at him and he was still looking at her the way he was looking at her a minute ago. “Thank you.” Talking to Neha now, “I don't know when they're gonna tell us to go back inside. It's already lunchtime.” Naha replied, “Yeah, you're right.” Now, Sara didn't have any problem standing with them because she didn't need to be afraid of anything now. Aaron still looking at Sara, “So, am I approved?” Sara answered, “Yeah, of course. I mean that if Neha likes you, then how can I have a problem with you going out with her.”
