I stepped back inside to understand what was going on, and before I could say a word, Camella's silhouette appeared, and I could swear that an angel had fallen at that minute. She was the perfect epitome of beauty, and I could swear I never knew a human could be as beautiful and gracious as that, at least not until I met Rita. I couldn't help but take a moment to appreciate her. Her features were delicate, her eyes pools of shimmering warmth that radiated kindness and understanding. Her hair cascaded in gentle waves around her face, framing features that seemed almost too perfect to be real. She had a crop top and bum short on, and her hairs were dangling loosely upon the apron.

She was obliged to. Perhaps the reason she didn’t was their pathetic attempt to get rid of Sally. She looked back to Mrs Terrence, or simply Agnes, but not fully as a foot still leaned against the first stair. “Where were you?” Agnes asked. “I went out to see a friend” She surrendered truthfully and Agnes hummed. “This late?” She added and Amy eyerolled at the clock. “It’s not even 7pm” “It’s not even dark outside”

Agnes stuttered, her face was all sweaty and her eyes wide open in fright. “No, it can't be. We buried Ava a month ago, she must be rotting under the ground by now. That lady has amber eyes but Ava's eyes are brown.” Anna tried to give herself some hope. “But why would Ryan get himself a wife that looks like his nephew's late wife?!” Anna snapped. “To haunt us..” Agnes whispered, she immediately cleared her throat on seeing the old man present there. “I mean, there's a possible explanation to this, I'm sure of that.” She corrected herself but deep down, her anxiety was growing.

" Marcus swallowed hard, nodding mutely as he scrambled to his feet. Agnes stood up beside Rhys, her hand instinctively moving to touch the cold, encrypted data-drive tucked safely into her inner jacket pocket. She looked through the front cockpit glass, watching the dark, white-capped waves of the ocean crashing violent against the black jagged rocks of the Moonhaven Coast below. This was where her family's downfall had begun—in the damp, blood-soaked arena by the sea. And this was where she would reclaim their legacy. She looked up at Rhys, her amber eyes burning with an unwavering resolve. "Let's go crack my mother's vault."

Agnes explained and excuse herself for a moment because she needed to use the lavatory. "Don't tell anyone that we know each other and don't make it obvious". Gracelyn whispered to me as soon as Agnes was out of sight. I looked at her puzzled. "But why?" I asked. "Because I said so. Don't talk to me if it's not work related." I wanted to asked further but she shush me since Agnes' footsteps are indicating that she is coming back. "Let's go. Greg here is already settled." Gracelyn grabbed Agnes' hand.

What does he have to go with Geneva? I transformed into my human form and put on my clothes before I approached the wooden desk. I scanned it and saw a book that I'm curious to read. I immediately grabbed it before I opened it. The name Agnes is written on the front page and the pages seem old and worn out. I skimmed through the pages and one part caught my eye. "The Goddess made my heart feel like racing despite my heart being lifeless," I read the vampire's notes, and my mouth agape. "She's special indeed," I read further and my eyebrows raised.

Agnes actually calmed down after the laugh. After that, even though she was still slightly uneasy, she was able to continue smoothly reciting her own 'lines.' "Hello everyone, I am Damon Drake's agent, Agnes Parma. Today, he should have been the one to personally explain the recent disturbance to everyone. Unfortunately, everyone should already know that he has gone missing... "

She smirked and pushed her hair backward. "To hell, you traitor!" She said and walked out of the basement with her gown moving as she moves. She cleaned herself up. When she got to the foyer, she saw Ace and Chloe awake. Agnes rushed to Ace and hugged him. She missed him. But Ace nor Chloe could talk. It was like something was blocking their throat from not talking. Agnes tried to talk to them but none was working. She gave up and called those of the pack healers she knew. Immediately, they came to her and tried to cure Ace but he wasn't responding. Chloe was responding but Agnes was not fine with it.

I close my eyes, resting my nose against his neck. “What’s going on? Hey lass, are you okay?” he asks, and I nod my head without moving too much. I need to feel his skin against mine, and I hear someone clearing three throat. I pull away, and my feet touch the floor, and I see her. Agnes. She is beautiful but frail. She has dark short hair that rests just above her shoulder straight, and she has blue eyes. She is stunning even though she doesn’t really look healthy. “Hi, Agnes. I’m Everly. Nice to meet you”, I say as I walk to her and offer my hand. She smiles and shakes my hand.
