She turned to look at Hunter, her mind racing. Hunter continued, his voice steady and cold. "Your sister is a hybrid. I can feel it—her scent is faint, and I can’t fully connect with her. If she reject me, she won’t survive. The pain would kill her instantly. Do you want that to happen? As an Alpha, do you want your daughter to die?" The room was still as his words sank in. Alpha Xander, Ethan, and Luca stood frozen, their faces a mixture of disbelief and concern. Hunter, wearing a smug expression, was about to take Aurora out of the mansion when the door suddenly opened.

“Do you know what wolf that was?” My heart thuds painfully. I shook my head. Antonio watched me for a long moment, his face unreadable. Then he said something that chilled me to the bone. “That was no rogue, Lena. That was Alpha Damon.” My breath stopped,the forest around me spins. “N-No…” I whispered ,shaking my head. “That’s not possible… he was… he was hurt” Antonio steps closer, gripping my shoulders. “And you were found right beside him, going where exactly?”

He turned around. Oliver walker! One of her chief bullies and Scarlett's friend. Well, the mate bond is strong, maybe he will like her now. Besides, he's from a powerful Beta bloodline. She walked closer to him, but the look of disgust on his face as he took a step back made her pause in her tracks.

Terror gripped my heart and tears welled up in my eyes. Bones cracked as the wolf on my back shifted into his human form. Warm breath fanned against my ears.
