After you had found your other three wounded animals, you began your work on creating them, and then you named them. The Griffen was a mix of lion, eagle, and bear. The Basilisk, you once said you had read about that, and it was a European legend. The Basilisk is a serpentine creature that bears resemblance to the Gorgons of Greek myth. You learned that the Basilisks are also sometimes called the kings of serpents. This particular creature can kill with just one look. Demarion paused, then a smile cracked; however, your serpentine creature seems to enjoy the flair for the dramatics as well.

We walked some miles into the forest where huge trees surrounded us. "Look at the snake there. That's so big. And its color... Wow!" I was fascinated for it was really big in size and shape. It was sitting on a tree. Resting. Its body coiled around the huge trunk of the tree like a vine. I was so much in awe that I stopped in my tracks to admire it. It must be a shape-shifter too. "That's a basilisk, Jade. You must have heard about it in Harry Potter." Vicky, the other assistant said.

It was dangerous to kill, even for a knight, especially with its poison gaze and breath. Obtaining it without the help of the fairy queen would’ve been too hard for her.
