Akira’s POV I held my breath, my heart pounding in my chest as I waited for the guard to take another turn. The cold floor pressed against my palms and knees as I crouched, ready to move at any moment. The dungeon had been dark and suffocating, but this—crawling our way through the faintly lit corridors—felt even more dangerous. Every sound, every flicker of a shadow made my nerves spike. “Akira, what if he sees us?” Brielle whispered, her voice trembling with fear. She was right beside me, her eyes wide with terror as she clutched my arm.

Strigha growled inside my head, his rage shot up my spine in waves of ice and fire. “You won't see Armageddon, roach!” I spat before plugging my claws deep into his eyes until I felt the softness of his brain hit the tip of my claws and I pulled his eyes out! He roared from the pain clawing at my arms and I tossed him out of the melting glass window. “I don't know how long I can hold the barrier!” Akira’s voice rang inside my head like a desperate plea for assistance. Fuck! I had let myself get distracted!

Akira scream his body jerked awake,his heart hammer in his chest. "Mom" The light from the window hit his eyes "Mom" He said sitting upright he scout the room he's in and noted with gloom that he's still in the room hope left him earlier,his mother was gone...he realized. Akira sigh proceeding to take off his shirt, he suddenly gasp looking at his skin, it was back to normal with no wounds or signs of injury,he sniff rubbing the scale mark on his arm and stood up in trance spotting a bright light stream from a slightly ajar door.
