My heart races as I spin around, the adrenaline surging through my veins like a wildfire. There he stands, the man from the diner, his expression calm yet predatory, leaning casually against the doorframe. My breath hitches, and a surge of panic crashes over me. “What do you want?” I demand, my voice stronger than I feel. I clutch the strap of my bag like a lifeline, ready to bolt past him if he makes a single move. He pushes off the doorframe and takes a step closer, his eyes glinting with a knowing intensity. “You can’t leave, Catwulf,” he says, his voice low and smooth, like silk wrapped around steel. “Therian is looking for you.”

She was HIS mate. He snarled in satisfaction as Zack separated the cat's hands from its body. He enjoyed it screaming. Then he went for the other one. Quickly with a satisfactory growl, Zander tackled him and held him down so he could not fight back. But surprise came as hard as a shock of current when the cat developed a new pair of hands. It happened so quickly and fast that his attention was cut from the cat's face and looked at its hands. The phantom creature took it for its advantage. It threw Zane on the floor and came on top of him.

The bartender, a swarthy panther shifter named Dagger, looks up when I stalk toward the steel and carbon bar-top at the back of the pub. “Y’look like ya need somethin’ stiff and strong,” he says, grinning with a feral glint in his eyes. Like most of the panthers, he’s a First Nations cat. He’s got shoulder length black hair tied back with a bandana, and like most people in this bar, he’s got scars and tats and missing teeth to show for the crowd he prefers. “The stiffer, the better,” I growl, planting my ass on the bar stool.

Susan's voice sounded delicate and pitiful, as if she were a helpless little girl seeking help. She played the part of a damsel-in-distress perfectly. Victor heard all of this. He looked into the apartment through the fourth-floor balcony. He didn't see the fat guy Stanley mentioned, but he did see a mechanical cat that was one and a half meters tall. The mechanical cat had clearly heard Susan's knocking. When it heard Susan's voice, it paused for a moment before baring its sharp, shiny fangs. Then, the mechanical cat leaped forward, pouncing at the sturdy security door.

We ran into each other as I was leaving. Oblivious to the connections forming in my head, he continues, “it’s been a while, Nova. A lot has happened. I heard from a little mouse that you can’t recollect a single thing. I'm trying not to take it personally, you not remembering me, it stings.” He touches his chest, as if me not recognizing him has hurt his feelings. “Let me reintroduce myself. Name’s Cato, baby. And I’ve been waiting a very long time for Levi to take his leash off of you.” Cato with his shoulder length messy chocolate brown hair and blank dark eyes buzzes with rage. An all consuming anger. He’s a predator. And I’m the prey.

Seeing him clutching his bloody arm, the men who had just stepped out of the tavern laughed at his weakness and frailty. "Haha, Chad, you are also conquered by women so quickly?" Hearing the taunts of the people around, along with the mocking laughter, Chad became even more enraged, stretched out his long clawed arm and leaned towards Lily. Lily cowered in fear, raising her arms to support her. Swirl. Out of nowhere, Douglas rushed out, his claws slashing a long line in front of his chest. Chad clutched his chest in pain, blood from his hands and chest dripping onto the pavement.

Watch out! Hearing Hyacinth, I turn around and see the enemy running towards me. I prepared my knife, and when it jump at me, I low kick the wolf, and gave it a sucker punch. It wailed and drop into the floor. I saw my chances and plunged my knife deep into the wolf's guts. Blood spurting everywhere, until I convinced that I've incapacitated it, I never release my hold on the knife, until a warm hand touch my shoulder. “Cat, you can let go of your hand. The man already died.”

She nudged him slightly with her muzzle, as if demanding he turn and face her and pet her. Dantares then felt something bump him from behind. He glanced back, assuming that the prince had tried to kick him in the butt. Instead, he found an enormous cat. “Wha—” he yelped as he jumped back from it. Hayward took a fast step, catching up to Sasha and giving her a hearty scratch on the head. “Oh yeah, Elissa has a big Sabercat for a pet. Isn’t she handsome?” From the closet, Elissa erupted into laughter. Look at you, mr. calm. Like she wasn’t a huge shock to your system.

Towcs teased. " Oooh! When I get up there I'm going to show you what this cat is capable of doing to a rat-like yourself!" Manor growls. " Na na na na naaaa!" Towcs taunts Manor as he wiggles his little bum at him. " * Growls* * Roars*" Manor suddenly pulls himself up and pounces at Towcs. " Aaahhhh!!" Towcs suddenly finds himself under Manor as Manor roars at him showing his sharp teeth.

She came out of the garage and headed over to the other one, who was still trying to stand up. I was watching to see what she was going to do, as were the other wolves. Kate spun the stick above her head and then brought it downward in a sweeping motion and knocked the man back on his ass. She then spun it again and whacked him in the head twice, which floored him. He was out for the count. She then for the first time turned toward us and saw four wolves looking back. She spun the stick again and took a stance that challenged us to try to get her.
