THE NIGHTMARE OF GREENWOOD CITY

THE NIGHTMARE OF GREENWOOD CITY

The cafe was located at a street close to her precint. As Detective Sophia entered the cafe, she noticed the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The sound of a soft jazz tune playing in the background created a cozy ambiance. The cafe was dimly lit, with small, circular tables scattered throughout the room. The walls were decorated with rustic wooden panels, giving the cafe a vintage feel. A large chalkboard hung behind the counter, displaying the different types of coffee and snacks available. A few people were sitting at the tables, chatting and sipping their drinks, while others were typing away on their laptops.

In the name of vows

In the name of vows

“Do you have a few minutes? We could sit. Talk.” Christine opened her mouth to decline, but Katy traitorously spoke first. “It’s warmer inside.” The three of them crossed the street, the cafe door bells ringing as they entered. It smelled of cinnamon and espresso inside, the kind of scent that made even the most guarded person soften a little. They found a table by the window. Mark ordered a black coffee; Katy chose a chai latte with honey. Christine kept the same cup she’d been nursing all morning, still mostly untouched.

Forbidden Lecture: My Professor's Secret Craving

“Did something happen?” “We’ve arrived, ma’am,” the driver said as he pulled up in front of the cafe. Aria had never felt more grateful. She could kiss the man right now. Café Noir was a high‑end café with big glass windows, dark wood, greenery, and people in tailored coats pretending they weren’t watching each other over flat whites. Inside, a hostess greeted Victoria by name and led them to a small table by the window. “Your usual?” the hostess asked.

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

CASSANDRA The bell jingled above the doorway as Cassandra stepped into the cafe. The atmosphere was warm and enticing, emerging her into the fragrance of roasted coffee beans and baked goods. The small restaurant was nearly packed. Families filled each booth, all dressed in their Sunday's best, just coming from a nearby church service. Whimsical giggles from children who bounced and wriggled across the cheap vinyl seats of the booths penetrated the air, followed by mothers chiding their behavior. Across the room, stools at the bar were occupied by brawny truck drivers just passing through town, all looking like they could use a good shower and shave.

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!

Perfect Marriage Revenge

Perfect Marriage Revenge

she whispered, stepping out. ******* The Café: A Brief Refuge The café was a striking departure from the sterile, high-pressure environment of Wellington Holdings. Its interior boasted a delightful blend of rustic warmth and contemporary elegance. Exposed brick walls were adorned with shelves of books and curios, while vibrant greenery hung in macramé holders from the ceiling. The air was saturated with the scents of freshly brewed coffee, spiced chai, and warm pastries, providing a temporary relief for Amelia’s frayed nerves. They opted for a secluded booth, far removed from the bustling groups of customers. Jake signaled the waiter and made his order without checking with her—he chose a str

Crossroads Café

Crossroads Café

Huge windows decorated with complicated carvings of wolves, vines, stars, and moons. The café had a big sign. It was the silhouette of a black howling wolf with « Crossroad café » written with a bright yellow. She wondered what was the link between a wolf and a crossroads. The logo did not make sense to her. Old Al’ made a sound and she realized that she did not move, too engrossed by the beauty of the café. She joined them as the old man opened the door where a warm atmosphere welcomed them. Bianca got stuck again by the interior. It was everything that she liked. A rustic decoration with massive pieces of wood. A huge bar with an impressive range of drinks from coffee to strong alcohol.

Oh my what a beautifully refreshing book! I laughed so much! I completely fell in love with Bianca and Magnus! They are super cute one is serious and stoic and the other fun and fiesty. Perfectly suited for each other! I always love reading about strong women and their equally strong men.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book! I have read so many books that are so full of fluff just to keep the reader hooked for the real story, but this book is fantastic and every chapter is relevant. You’ll run through a roller coaster of real emotions and still want more. Definitely worth it!

The Orphan's Goddess

The Orphan's Goddess

I would love to see what’s on the menu of your favorite café.” You have no idea Chris. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to know how other cafés work and what’s on their menu, with that I can innovate something new in my very own café. Aside from that, I think this place is the perfect meeting place for me and Ronald. It is quite hidden and there aren’t so much people around. With a smiling face Chris said, “What are we waiting for? Let’s go in!” I nodded with such excitement “Oh hell yeah! I am also starving, you know.” We both laughed while entering the café. The ambiance of the café is truly homey. It actually didn’t look like a café at all, it was more of a home. Their tables and c

 My Step Daddy

My Step Daddy

Taking a deep sigh, I return to the changing room to change my cloth and go back to my home. I reached the café at 3 AM. The café lights were on like always we do on Christmas, the café was decorated with light and a Christmas tree. There were few families still having coffee and pastries to enjoy Christmas. “Merry Christmas…” Serena came to hug me. “Merry Christmas Serena” I wished back. “You look tired,” She said with concerned eyes. “Yeah, little, I want to sleep. Where is little angel” I asked. “Sleeping in bed, You go and join her, I will be with Theo today” She smiled shyly.
