My eyes widened as I took in the place. It looked expensive just like every other part of his palace, but the most remarkable thing was the giant pool in the center, and it looked like it had… Ice crystals floating on it. What on earth? “Ever since the curse was aggravated, my body goes through phases of intense overheating, and only occasional ice baths can help,” he explained. Okay… what was he bringing me here? To watch him have a bath? Without warning, Kaden shoved me into the water, it felt like a billion needles pickled my skin at the same time as I was fully submerged in the water.

bedtime got closer and closer, sighing, I decide a nice hot bath was in order, hoping and praying to every god out there, that I would not have to attend this stupid initiation. Sighing, I slowly move towards the bathtub, switching the knob to hot, I move to grab one of my many, many bath bombs, a lavender scented bath bomb reaching my nose as I move to plop it into the water, watching as it fizzled, the water slowly turning purple. When all the young girls were scared, hiding away in the castle while the men were gone, I took them one by one. I still remember my mother's bathroom. By that time, I had already killed my parents because they disgusted me. Everybody thought that they were killed in the war. Suddenly, from the corner of the room, their mother’s voice rose in a broken wail. “Carla! Don’t take one of my children. It’s just me… It’s just me. Don’t make them suffer!” The plea cut through the air like a knife, raw and pleading. Their mother’s eyes were wide with terror, her bound hands twisting against the ropes as she rocked back and forth. The name “Carla” hung in the room like a summoned ghost, a tangible thread linking the present torment to the sins of the past. Eloise and Elena exchanged a glance heavy with shared dread—the curse was stirring again, drawing closer, its tendrils reaching for what little they had left.

"Fuck, Cathleen!" As the tension coiled tighter within him, he fought against the images that flashed behind his closed eyelids—Cathleen, her hair slicked back from the bath, droplets cascading down her shoulders, her skin flushed with warmth. He cursed himself for offering her the damn bath and for letting her get under his skin. When release finally came, it was like a gunshot in the quiet room—violent and abrupt. I pushed it open, freezing in my tracks. “Azura?!” Leo called, but I couldn’t reply, the sight before me making my stomach sink. The tap was running into a bath that was overfull already, but what sent a chill down my spine, was the hand that hung out of the bath. The coppery smell of blood hit my nose as I approached the bath that was coloured pinky-red. A faint heartbeat could be heard, but it was so quiet… “Kareena?” I called, as I stopped at the bath and stared down into the bloody water, my eyes widening in horror.

I whispered. She leaned in, and I whispered something into her ear. She blinked. “That’s… that’s not going to be easy. But I’ll try.” “Please do,” I said, giving her a hopeful smile. “I’d really appreciate it.” She nodded and left. But by then, the hour had passed. The cursed Lycan hated lateness. I didn’t need anyone to tell me that. I groaned, pulling myself up. His bath had to be done the traditional way…whatever that meant in this outdated mansion deep in the forest. And apparently, traditional meant dragging buckets of water from some old stone well at the back of the castle, boiling them over open flames like we lived in the 1600s.

It was not a place I expected a beast to reside in because it was decorated in colours of crimson, black, and gold, and it looked incredibly gorgeous with the antique furniture spread out perfectly about the room. It takes me a while to locate the bathroom, but once I do, I’m in wonder as I walk around the stunning room, which is adorned in crimson, black, and gold, to match the bedroom. I’m taken aback by the size of the bath, which resembled a small swimming pool, and the shower, which could hold at least twenty people. I walk over to the toilet, use it, then proceed to the sinks to wash my hands. As I go to dry them, the shoulder of my dressing robe falls down my arm, revealing the spot w

The women move forward, replacing the guards’ hands, and I’m ushered into an enormous bathroom where a tub is already running, the water casting steam toward the tiled ceiling. My dress is peeled away by long, pale fingers. The women’s voices are soft and bright as they rattle on in their native tongue, but I’m just staring at my body in the mirror, at the bruises, at the wounds that’ll leave new scars. I keep staring at my reflection until they dump a bucket of hot, soapy water over my head. It burns into every gash, every scrape and scratch. Even though itvs now late, I still wanted to take a bath because I sweat a while aho so O wanted to sleep clean "Prepare my bath now" as soon as I entered my room, that's the words I uttered first and sat on the couch on my room again to wait for them. Fortunately, they were able to prepare my bath in a short amount of time so I was able to take a bath immediately. As you can see, I have a lot to think about these times and Calix and Hyden was even added. In the end, stress accumulated on my mental health so bath is the best solution for it with my favourite scene. I'm glad bath is alreadt existing at these times because if it's not. i might have died already.
