“Drink some more if you need to.” An abrupt grunt burned in his throat, white teeth sinking into his bottom lip as his eyes clamped shut. His large palm dwarfed the miniature bottle of whisky as he brought it to his lips and chugged down the remainder. “Fuck,” he cried out, long and drawn out, his muscles clenching rigidly beneath bloodied skin. “I know, baby. I’m sorry,” Zoe whispered, wiping her hair from her forehead with the side of her hand. “The needle is too weak to go through smoothly.”

A broken lamp. And smashed it into his face. Glass exploded. The wolf howled. She kicked. Hard. He stumbled. Damien was on him a second later. Silence fell. Not peace. Aftermath. Damien shifted back. Breathing hard. Blood streaked down his arms. Not his. He rushed to Lia. Dropped to his knees. “You hurt?” She shook her head. Tears streamed. He grabbed her. Pulled her into him. Hard. Not gentle. Desperate.

The vulnerability, the fear, the possibility of being hurt. Because staying closed-off and protected was just another kind of destruction. And Eli was worth the risk.

He groaned in pain. Zoe screamed in anger and began kicking about. She rushed towards Dale and then came the beating.. "Please, please! Please don't," Dale cried, shielding her affected leg. Zoe was punching the injury aggressively. Zoe then reached for the shotgun and watched for a moment and then she struck her suddenly with it, sending her crashing to the floor, but not before her face banged against the table she hid. Dale felt sharp, crushing pains in her side and back, she was being kicked repeatedly. She tried screaming but nothing came out as she looked up, something bright and strangely beautiful exploded in her face but its impact was felt on her shoulder.

They're really protective of you, Layla." Tom informed me and I had to laugh. "Great. That's what I need. More protective crews." I sarcastically responded and everyone chuckled. "Are you all ok?" Hart asked and everyone nodded. I checked Finn's bruise but it didn't seem that bad. "Don't worry, princess. I just caught the edge of a punch. They weren't aiming for me." he whispered. I kissed him and he pulled me close.

" I trailed . '" you think I've not thought of all of that ? Fred stop getting angry because I'm more angry right now " I said and he ran his fingers in his hair . " I'm sorry I just .....my life is ruined ,just one night and all these happening in my life ...I don't know how to feel Aria I shouldn't have fvcked Veronica " he said sadly . " It already happened love blaming yourself wouldn't help in anyway ,have you tried asking Sergio to hack into her system or something ? I asked.

Confusion was written on his face as he still couldn’t make head or tail of what had just transpired. Frowning, Kayson sighed. “Well, it was a nice punch. You didn’t fail your reputation as a warlord. Even though I’ve used the Advanced Titanium Technique and the Aquale Armor to mitigate 90% of the damage, the 10% damage that went through my defense still caused me some damage. You really are powerful!”
