I knew that face. Not from business. Not from school. From somewhere else. The fitting shop!!! This was the girl who tried to drown Zina. She was in front of me, smiling politely, as if she hadn’t tried to murder someone a few months ago, and completely unaware that I recognized her. Madison gestured toward her proudly. “This is Valerie.” Valerie extended her hand. “It’s an honor to meet you, Mr. Dane.” I stared at her hand for a moment before slowly standing.

Daphne mumbled anxiously while glancing at me. “Oh,” Valerie explained. “You didn't even tell me that the bitch is in the same room as you” “Valerie please no” Looking at Daphne’s face and seeing how livid she was, I knew that was going to be a long morning.

Valerie The silence on the other hand had stilled a tiny fear inside of me. Did I say too much? Was my best friend now raging mad at me? The clanking and crashing sound could be heard from the other side. "Shay, are you fine?" No response. “Shay?” I called out her again. "I'm just taking the baseball bat out Valerie! I’m going to beat the shit out of that fucking Drew!!" She shouted through the phone making me cringe and almost making me lose my ear drum. "And about that cooking," she paused.

Today was Valentine's Day, and I wanted my husband to take a day off. "Stay home with me," I said. "Valentine's Day is the best time to make money," he replied, turning away. As he stepped out the door, he casually reminded me, "Call me if anything happens." I had planned to wait for him to come back, but at some point, I drifted off to sleep. When I woke, it wasn't to the sound of him returning—it was the pain that pulled me out of my daze. Cold sweat soaked my face as I gasped for air.

"Don't do this. I'll do anything. Just don't leave me." But Valerie was resolute. She knew that death was better than going back to Dominic. With a surge of adrenaline, she managed to free herself from his grasp, leaving behind only her ring. As she fell from the edge of the waterfall, Dominic's scream echoed through the forest. "VELERIE!" he shouted, his voice hoarse with despair. Dominic stood at the edge of the waterfall, his eyes fixed on the spot where Valerie had disappeared. He was frozen in shock, his mind reeling with the realization that he had lost her forever.

“I really don’t-” “Valene!” she exclaimed. “Was it like, seven? Eight?” I didn’t want to answer so I didn’t and somehow Harlyn took this as a hint that she was still off the mark. “Was it in the two digits? Past ten or eleven?” I still didn’t answer and yet somehow something in my expression told her that she was closer to the correct number. “Bloody hell!” cried Harlyn. “Valene, wha-what the hell happened out there?” I dropped my head back against the wall. “Vampires,”

So I warned him. "I am going to cum". I groaned. "Not yet, daddy". A feminine sultry voice forced my eyes open, just in time to see Sandra slipping out of her night gown. Seductively. Her succulent nipples beging me to feast on them. "We are just getting started" she announced as she catwalked towards me. "Oooo!! I love the sound of that". I grabbed her butt and pulled her for a deep kiss. Sandra's POV. I thought it was weird for Xanvier to refer to me as "daddy" while I was riding him.

"I have business to attend to." Turning Vladimier gave me a swift kiss on the lips before brushing a hand along my cheek. Smiling, he turned and headed back into his office, slamming the door shut behind him. Now alone with my tutor, I tried to plaster a smile on my face to show that I meant no harm, given the hostility and now repose I was getting from him. "Nice to meet you, Geofrey. I'm Valerie." I offered, holding up a hand. "How did you do it?" Geofrey asked instead, leaning closer to me and narrowing his gaze. "How did you manage to be reborn?"

“Who the hell is it?” “What happened to her being her own person?” Kallen taunted and walked past me, my feet following his. “But seriously, no clue. Our conversation exploded before I could find out,” We stopped in front of Kallen’s bedroom door and he knocked politely. Silence. “Doll,” He spoke and knocked again. I could feel her sadness and pushing past Kallen, I opened the door to find a broken sight. Valerie looked like one of those damn paintings Kallen adored as she laid atop his made bed, blonde hair falling like a curtain over her face and shoulders, face hidden in her arms, and I could hear the tiniest sniffles. Just needed one of those dramatic ballgowns to complete the look.

Valerie's POV When I saw the name flashing on my screen, I realized it was a call from my best friend, Constance. The moment I picked up, her excited voice filled the line. "Valerie! So? Has Aaron heard the news yet? Was he thrilled? When are you two announcing that the Black Shadow Pack finally has its Alpha heir? I must be the first to send my congratulations!" Her joy was genuine. I could hear it in every word. But reality had already dealt me a merciless blow.
