My brain refused to absorb it. My heart refused to accept it. My mouth refused to form another word. Dead. Ethan is dead, those loan sharks have finally killed him and if care is not taken Dawn is next. I took a step back, bumping into my own car. My chest rose and fell in short, sharp breaths.
