Luna’s Replacement
The familiar white sheer fabrics are dancing to the seagulls' melody in the arms of the wind.
-"The one time you should have walked through the door, you didn't." The Moon Goddess giggles, amused at my apparent and unintended defiance.
-"Am I dead?" I ask her. The beast barbequing me was the last thing I remember.
-"Dead? No, only a god can kill a god or, or in your case, a demigod." Wait! What? I am what? She must have read my confusion features because she continued. "You're like my half-brother Hercules, Naomi. You can only die from natural causes, such as growing old."
