RHEA Against my better judgment, I unlock the door to my apartment. I pause long enough to take a few steadying breaths, run through the calming techniques I barely believe in, then step aside to let Damien in. “This is me.” His presence fills the space instantly. Damon said. “No, you want to see me. That’s not the same thing.” His voice cracked. “Please.” A silence passed between them. Old. Sacred. Bleeding. “I’ll send you the address,” she said. And hung up. The apartment she rented for him to see her wasn’t hers. It was cold. Minimal. A stage. White walls. No pictures. No memories. Just curated emptiness. A place where ghosts could visit without touching anything. He arrived exactly at 3:12 a.m.

It was then that Torelli’s red eyes betrayed him, they shone in the distance. Again, Jesse took after him in full blast. He timed his approach and fired his haunches. He flew through the air, aiming for the neck. But it was too strong to rip off. The two stared balefully at the other for a few seconds until Jake approached menacingly and stopped as well beside Jesse, snarling. ‘I shall fight, but not today’ the demon said, forming rapidly back to the priest’s form who fell flat. And then appeared on the horizon abound of black clouds drifting towards the alps. Bats!

With a thud, Kat and Calix landed right into apartment B3, crumpling down on the hallway like a pair of marionettes whose strings were snipped off. She fell on her knees, him right on his face. The door didn't close by itself, but one look confirmed that the weird room was well away now. Staring back at her was her parents' bedroom, dark and unbelievably dusty but otherwise normal. No gold, no candles, no antique tables, and definitely no non-red schnitzel Demons.

When she left, I immediately wrapped a washcloth around the dagger and placed it behind my back. I did look like a princess, but not waiting for my prince charming. But my nightmare is waiting for me. Another maid was standing outside the door who was probably waiting for me. “My lady, please come with me.” She said politely, not daring to raise her head. STRANGE! It was totally strange how she was addressing me so politely because demons hate angles as far as I know. Then why? She showed me the way to the master bedroom of Dimitri. As I kept walking, I was slightly shaking.

That’s how he found himself in the closest police precinct begging the officers to help him. “Please! Arrest me!” Rell screamed as he practically fell into the doors constantly looking back to see if the demon would follow behind him from his apartment, convinced he’d seen his horns in his rearview mirror. “Sir, please, calm down. Why do you think we should arrest you?” The confused officer asked, looking at Rell as if he was another strung out junkie just looking for a place to stay the night. “Tha- that man! That devil!” He screamed hysterically.

Looks like the Devil will be staying a lot longer than we planned. Standing at the door of our apartment, I can hear multiple voices. It sounds like there's a commotion going on inside. I glance down at little demon and he shrugs his shoulder. I’m pretty sure I turned off the stove before leaving. They can’t be from the fire department. I push on the door with little strength. On the inside, I catch a glance of men running here and there like there is an emergency. It isn’t until I hear Denzel’s voice that I dare to step inside.

But everything crumpled down when she found out the truth. This is Dark Hades call. He only comes out when there’s death. He only comes out when there’s evil and blood. Because death and darkness are always the demon’s call.
