“Oh, this is an ordinary puss, not a beauty, gracious benefactor,” said Novoveski; “and I am going to Rashroff, for my son, the rascal, is serving there under the banner of Sir Rushet. It is nearly ten years since he ran away from home, and knocks at my fatherly clemency only with letters.”
