At that moment Maximilian’s men appeared from several corners because they had been hiding all along only to guard the old man. Ethan looked at Olivia. “Ready? You must not be caught!”

Carlson. In the old man's presence, her hair stood on end. He didn't give off the warm aura associated with most old folks. He was a very old man around sixty. His beards and hairs had turned white. Upon a closer look on his face, I grimaced in hate and anger. He was the old tycoon, Mr.De Vile, one of the old friends of my grandfather. I couldn't believe that he was doing everything to control me.

Oli grumbled next to him. The old man rolled his eyes at him. He carefully listened to his heart beat. "Hmm weird, why is this so?" he whispered with his eyes wide open. "What is it? Is it too bad? Is he dying?" Oli whispered anxiously from the side. It was initially his idea to kidnap him. On impulse he took him and rushed to the boat. 'I really shouldn't have....like a coward I kidnapped his mate. Darn it where is my pride,' he scratched his head in frustration. He watched the old man wipe his sweaty forehead again. "Tell me, is he dying?"

Dean couldn’t figure out if the man hated everything and everyone or feared it all. “Elder Evans again. Some days, I can’t wait for that wolf to die. He’s like a never ending font of negativity. None of the others are like that.” Oli’s words mirror Dean’s thoughts to a tee. Dean nodded as he gave a small grunt in agreement. He stood there going through some paperwork on the parcel of property that was in question at the moment.

Now everyone else appeared like madmen as they pushed people around and do all sorts of things to ensure they don't come as one of the evens. The old man stayed with Ley at the back. He kept on criticizing everyone as he commented on human principles and morality. The young man stood there rooted on his spot as he watched how one could actually blackmail a weak woman by holding her son hostage in order to push her to be one of the evens. He saw how a man could beat up a weak old lady and throw her towards the rock before colliding with the rock himself. The old man was still rambling incessantly beside him when Leyte finally spoke, "Something's wrong here..."

With his face filled with wrinkles, the old man had plain white clothes on and he appeared to have lost an arm as well. Despite how frail the old man looked, Welson couldn’t help but feel nervous. ‘How did he even get here? And when did he appear behind me?’ “…May I know who you are, sir? And why have you come to search for the Crawford family on this island?” replied Welson as he bowed slightly, understanding that this old man was no ordinary person. “I’m the great master… Christopher Moldell!”
