Beep, beep, beep... Riley hit the snooze button on her phone. Five minutes later, the same annoying alarm sounded, and this time, she didn't ignore it. It was 6 A.M. and she knew she needed to shower and get ready for her breakfast date with Ethan. As she got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom, she heard her phone vibrate, so she ran over and grabbed it to see, "Good morning, beautiful. Meet me at the diner in town for 8?". She beamed and replied with a "heart emoji, see you then," text right back. She placed her phone back down and grabbed her towel, heading for the shower.

the Dj suddenly changed the beat to slow and tense music. I don't know if it is the music or not but I can see the sudden change in his expression. it shifts from a goofy one to a serious one. It looks more intense than it has ever been. he begins to stare down at me and I wonder why the change in demeanour. I don't know why but I begin to feel butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why I suddenly begin to notice how attractive he is. not that I didn't notice earlier but his lips begin to look sexier as he stares down at me.

Punch after punch and kick after kick, Ace wasn't moving anymore and it took him a moment to realize that. The man was panting hard as he shook him to see if he was unconscious. "That was fast", he snickered devilishly. "Ah, that piece of shit. Can't even take a little beating like a man", he clicked his tongue in irritation. He unties him and let him drop to the floor. He tsked and left the blood-filled office. After about thirty minutes, Ace wakes up, he's in pain, extreme pain. He gets out f the house, barely on his knees and heads to the only house that he knows that will welcome him.
