I can’t curtail my anger as I flip the table upside down. Damn you, Kendra. Damn you.

My eyes trailed off to Chris who was sneaking in another treat. She didn’t wait for my answer, spinning around flipping her hair in my face, “I’m going in, “ she gleamed, and without further notice, walked towards Chris, leaving me gagging trying to get the taste of her hairspray out of my mouth, “ yes, you do that, flippy," I gagged. I approached the two with a slight sigh, maintaining a short distance. Britney had snuck up on Chris from behind, covering his eyes with her hands so naturally now we had reached the awkward part, his hand’s feeling up her arm to get a clue of who it was.

“SUBMIT.” By the second time, I was ready to beg her, plead. Shit I would dress like a prostitute and do the Macarena if it meant that I would finally get to fire my load. At this point I would take anything, hand, mouth, cunt or ass. I wasn’t picky. But Flynn was a stubborn asshole and refused to let her win this game. When Flynn attempted to flip her over she growled out and attempted to bite our hand off then tsk’d at us.

He said aggressively. I still decided to eat my food. I felt the nudge to let my anger over power me but I knew this conversation will not lead to any better place. He’s just angry, I said to myself. They are probably annoyed because we make them wait for too long. “Quit staring at us like that, guys. We’re already here,” I told them while giggling. “But you made us wait for almost an hour,” Ravia Flynn, my best friend—which is also my brother’s fiancée, mumbled. “Sorry about that, my best friend. I over-slept,” I replied and she just rolled her eyes. “Well, that’s probably because you get too exhausted for having steamy sex all night,” Caden butted in and his brothers Damon and Callim laughed with him while their younger siblings, Dionne and Demi just giggled at their side.

Ginger compliments, “if I was gay, I’d definitely ask you out on a date..” “Oh really..” I joke.. “Totally..” she winks at me before laughing. I laugh along too. We were broken off by Flo clearing her throat, “As much as I’d like to stay here, I better leave..” she says putting her shoes on. “What? So soon?”

Zara Lovegrove Moonclaw POV “Look at this mess!” Lady Esme Whitlock screams, her face turning bright red as she jumps up from her wooden chair. She points her finger right at me, and her eyes look like they want to poke holes through my chest. “You stupid, clumsy wolf!” “I am so sorry,” I whisper. I quickly grab a dry cloth from my apron and try to reach out to clean the sticky, wet juice from her fancy white fur cape.

“N-no… that’s impossible!” Her voice drifted weakly, like someone talking in a dream. “It’s fake… Emily, you’re lying to me… You hate me, so you’re lying, right?!” Her voice suddenly rose to a sharp, desperate pitch, like a final struggle before drowning. I looked at her. There was no hatred in my eyes, no tears either; only a cold, bottomless emptiness. That absolute calm was more devastating than any accusation. Smack! A loud slap shattered the frozen silence in the room.

Friday lunch and Stephen looks at me over his glass of iced tea, his gaze narrowing as he assesses what he sees. “Take a step back,” he says. “I like you better all giddy and sexed up than bitchy and mean-spirited.” I toss my plastic fork into the plastic bowl filled with a green leafy salad that I’ve barely touched and stare at the man who is supposed to be my best friend. “First off, I’m not bitchy.”
