Calix whispered, a sound meant only for his own ears, as if he were physically aching for Nathalie’s embrace. Nathalie pulled away from Harrison’s embrace. Harrison’s gaze followed Nathalie’s gaze and when he saw his friend he mentally sighed. Harrison turned his gaze back to Nathalie and softly said, “I’ll leave you two alone.” Nathalie looked back at Harrison. “Talk to each other first.” Harrison continued and after saying this he left Nathalie’s presence. As Harrison walked in front of Calix, he noticed the dark glare Calix was giving him. He simply smirked at him and walked past.

“We are sorry to barge into your home this way, but we really have come from a far place, and we just want to know if we are in the right place.” She dropped her bag, moved her pot to give it a stir, and turned to give us the most discomforting look I have ever seen. I looked away from her eyes, scared that she might see my fear. “Nicolas and Gabriella,” she began, sending an undeniable wave of shock down our spine. “Two people destined to meet each other. A blessing, and a curse. A blessing to whom she chooses to be a blessing to, and a curse to whom she chooses to be a curse to.”

Nathan looked warily at Gabriel. He was very tall and was six foot two. There was something chilling about him, and even Nathan felt some jitters when near him. Gabriel was not a man; he was a killing machine. Nathan looked at Gabriel carefully, and Gabriel did the same as he observed Nathan silently. Nathan’s men were already in the lake, but they were quietly floating as Nathan had not given them the next orders. The lake was freezing, but Nathan’s men did not look like they intended to get out of it. Gabriel was quietly impressed at how Nathan was able to control his men so well.

"We should talk about what to do about Markings." " In my opinion..." The bed creaked as Gabriel adjusted his sitting position and made sure the pillow behind him was doing its job.

Isobel gasped, looking at Rafael in shock. “You know what? I’m done,” Nathaniel said walking away from his siblings. He ignored Isobel his name and Rafael telling her to shut the fuck up. You would think Rafael would spare her, Nathaniel thought to himself. Nathaniel locked himself in his room and lit a smoke. He groaned as he smelt Rosalyn all over his room. He went to the balcony for fresh air and this was the best he could get right now. Rosalyn was not here so he needed to try and keep his head in the game. She was his peace.

Once Katherine cried, my parents would immediately recognize me as their adopted daughter. Gabriel and I had loved each other for 18 years. "Pack your things. Vincent will escort you to the executive floor." I stood there for a moment. Then I closed my laptop. I picked up my bag. I gathered the few things I had brought to this desk. Davis was standing near his office door, watching me with an expression I could not read. His hands were in fists at his sides. I walked past him without saying anything. "Gabriella." He said. I stopped. "This is not over." He said quietly. I looked at him. "No. It is not." I walked to the elevator with Vincent beside me. The doors closed, and the department disappeared behind them.

Nathan's just happy that he got Sadie all to himself now, that's all that matters and he will find a way to tell her about it one day but till then, he will do anything and everything to make her happy.
