The aspirin was useless. Not because it didn't function anymore, but because Vanessa found that she didn't need it after all. Her migraines died out after her talk with Jake and they did not return. When she woke in the morning, she grabbed her phone to see if Jake had texted her, while half-praying he hadn't texted her. But there was no message from an unknown number. She frowned, a little disappointed, and she did not understand why she felt disappointed. She sighed, dropped her phone and rolled out of bed.

He had his own gravity field. As I waited for him to make a move, the ground started to swallow my feet. My legs were sinking fast; this must be Mount Fort’s doing. When he raised his right hand to swat me, I sky-jumped to free myself and got back into the air, but the gravity of this world yanked me toward the hill. I couldn’t get my legs positioned downward. I crane my neck back, move my hair back to see it all. The portly guard pulls a lever, and a portion of it lowers. Clunky and groaning, the ice flys out, the gate forcing its way open. The gate lowers completely, warm water slowly trickles out, and the inside of Estate Eclipse is steaming. I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

His father fell onto the floor like a comet and crashed into the barrier over the ground. *BOOOM* His crash was similar to a rocket exploding. Mane didn’t understand how it was possible for his father to be so heavy. However after giving it some thought, he knew it had to do with the lease his father mumbled. His father jumped up and dusted his clothes in less than a second. “What was that?” Mane asked, curious to know what exactly that lease was. “Gravitatis Adduci” Ray answered as he stretched. “It allows one to increase the gravitational pull on an object exponentially, based on the amount of chaos one can muster” Ray continued.

We jumped. The moment we crossed the invisible threshold of the crater's rim, the terrifying, terminal-velocity drop vanished. The lunar gravity grabbed us, violently decelerating our fall.
