Gravity. I clenched my jaws as the space surrounding the ship suddenly vanished, replaced with land–red, crusty land. The ship tilted down, then dipped before dropping hard like stone. The gravity was stronger than earth's. “We’re falling!” Kael yelled, his voice cutting through the ringing in my ears. “Brace your–”

It brushes the petal. The deck plating beneath us groans. Wrenches upward into a sudden, miniature mountain range, pitching us sideways. Cups, tools, a stray aster plant float gently upwards, released from earthly bonds within a two-meter radius. The Gravity Concept drifts away, humming contentedly, leaving chaos in its wake.

He funneled every ounce of his carnal, Alpha power through the floor, turning the ship’s own mass against it. We fell. The descent was a friction-burned nightmare. The white marble of the city began to glow red-hot as we re-entered the atmosphere. The monk-Reflections vaporized into ash. The mercury floors melted into puddles of useless slag. We hit the Eastern sea three miles off the coast. The impact was a mountain-level event. A massive wall of water swept across the horizon, but the Grey Pack warriors—their iridescent skin acting as a shield—survived the crash, floating on the waves like a celestial armada.

Formation covering the island was broken, and the airflow flew in all directions. It was like the wailing of hundreds of ghosts. The whole island began to shake. In the rumbling sound, the stacked ships all fell to the sea surface as if they had fallen apart, causing large amounts of water to splash. The male cultivator, who had just escaped back to his place and had not had time to let out a sigh of relief, suddenly heard the violent explosion and jumped up in fright.

Liam asked and Hades could see he was holding on for dear life, one paw dangling as he lost his grip. "Just move faster. Something is happening and I do not want to be hanging off the side of this thing if it gets worse," Hades yelled back at him. He was one second from scrambling up and shoving Liam up the rest of the ladder or knocking him off. But either way, the tom needed to get his ass moving.
