He stepped out, adjusting his cufflinks as he scanned the empty parking lot.
With a satisfied nod, he strode toward the entrance, his shoes clicking on the polished floor. Inside, the hall was equally deserted.
Harrison claimed a seat at the front, his eyes fixed on the door. He checked his watch. 8:55 AM. Five minutes to spare.
The first arrivals trickled in, their conversations hushed. Heads turned, eyes locking onto Harrison.
"It's been ages," someone whispered.
"That poor man... his father's empire, gone," another murmured.
