It's our first year of high school and our parents have decided that I and Ryan are going to be in the same high school, Saber Hills International High(SHIH). Now sharing a school between me and my childhood buddy ain't a problem but not if that said buddy seems to have a problem with me. Gavin has been behaving a bit weird lately and I have tried chalking it up to nerves of starting high school but it's becoming too much.

Different disturbing thoughts kept coming to my mind. Today which is the first day of resumption, I almost faked being sick so I could stay back. But mom would not hear of it, I shook off the weird feeling and prepared myself for school. Empire High School Lagos Nigeria was the best private school in town, only the rich and influential kids attends the school, parents were bringing their kids with expensive cars, security men were opening doors for some to come out of the car, I was lost, just looking around. I knew I had the privilege to attend this kind of school all thanks to Mr Raphael.

It might be lonely at times but I'd rather be alone forever than sleep under the same roof as Scott every night. I dropped my skateboard to the cement and started riding along the sidewalks toward Phillips High. It was a place I'd come to love and mostly hate over the past three years. Highschool has to single-handedly one of the worst ideas anyone has ever had. I mean, it's a bunch of horny hormonal teenagers thrown into a hot ass building all day to learn a bunch of boring shit hardly any of us are actually interested in. Personally, I'd much rather skateboard and get high all day, but here I am about to attend a bunch of pointless classes.

High School is like a completion everyone for themselves it either you win or lose. The way I see things is that you have four years to spent here, that enough time to learn people and their true colors. I divided everyone into groups you have the popular sluts, brainless jocks, the rebels, nerds, and someone like me a loner who become un-notice to anyone that what I like. Let’s face it I choose not to become close to anyone once we graduate there a one out ten chance you will never see these people again.

The teachers were fairly bearable too, but I mean school will always be school right? Given all of that, you'd think we would have regular people around here. Nada, zilch, zero. Tons of slackers and hippies. I mean, it's high school so of course there's drama, especially with our hormones in charge. Senior year is usually when most people think about their lives and what they want to do forever. The college you want to attend, if you'll be leaving the city or not, whether football scholarships will be worth it or not. Basically just realizing that we are growing up, ready to deal with what the outside world has to offer. You don't need to have everything figured out right away but at least m

22 | SHS My senior high school journey began last month. I’ve been a STEM student for a month and I’ll admit I’m having a hard time. It is twice tiring than in junior high school, it's a good thing this semester didn't include basic chemistry subject. Right now, pre-calculus is the most difficult subject, but somehow I'm able to cope. Next sem, I will have a basic chemistry. It's good then because I'm sure I'll go crazy.

It’s enjoyable and stressful at the same time especially when the weather is too hot. I am Lou. I’m 16 and I’m proud gay. Incoming grade 10 students. This is our last year as Junior High Student. It’s frustrating but that’s life. They say ‘High school is the most memorable days of our lives’ which is correct. I face countless problems, met new friends since we’re hetero, and the memories we made that I will bring forever. I swear I will enjoy our last year. “Let’s go?! You started daydreaming again there!” Shane said while smirking.

The weekends are probably the best moment in most high school students' lives. While some use it for leisure, part-time jobs, more lectures, reading, resting, others use it for making plans. It is not an easy one for high school students as they tend to juggle with school, as well as what life brings to them. It was a mixture of school, friendship, work, family as well as others. Weekends were always a strange one for Andrew Carter, one of the four. An eighteen-year-old boy who always has the biggest smile, but not feeling a good life at all.

I let out a sigh as I looked at the entrance of Riverville High. Many students are already chatting, some are playing online games at their phones, some are bullying some nerds,some are applying make-up on their faces, some are flirting and some are even making out on the lawn. Typical highschool sight. It is just the beginning of the school year and now I badly want for it to end already. Yeah, I mean it, and this is Ken Smith saying, the good boy of Riverville High. Why? Because highschool is full of drama. And I don't want any drama.
