Curse of the Wolves
“Just because I’m the God of War doesn’t mean I want an endless war, woman! It’s those kinds of stereotypes that give a God a bad reputation.”
A husky laugh sounded from Deidamia, “You give yourself a bad reputation, Ulrich. At least some of us embrace what we are.”
“Why are you here, anyway?” I asked her, not caring how blunt I sounded. The time for niceties left when I was tossed into an arena. “Why would the Goddess of Chaos want to stop chaos from being unleashed?”
Deidamia didn’t seem offended by my question. She lifted a brow, her dark skin lit with a warm glow. The dress she wore was brightly colored, with an array of patterns that seemed to move as she did.
