"Oh God, I'm sorry." He didn't move. "But you know the thing I don't get? Why you didn't just ask. Ask me if I was seeing someone else. You know I'd never lie to you, so you've got to know I would've told you. So why didn't you ask me? I don't get it." I dropped my head into my hands and cringed. "Or do I?" "Oh God..."
