I am dying of coughing here and all his excuse was *Cause you didn't ask*. "Why do I need to ask? Can't you do it by yourself? Oh, God... I think I'll die of coughing," I arrogantly said in between my repeated nose-wiping process.

He said, "If you didn't ask me, I wouldn't say that. I don't like to lie. You know me." "So I asked for it?" "..." "Have you really never loved me?"

He didn’t answer. I left.

Why didn’t I think of this? What was happening?
