That was until the police were called and she ended up being suspected as one of the drug dealers, thus resulting into the current cop chase she was in.

But then, after a long wait, Luca finally broke the silence. “What does she even want?” Marco asked, turning away from Alesaa, “Isabella… What does she really want?” Alessa looked a lot confused about the question, “Ehh… total control, I would assume…” “I would not really be surprised if you knew what she wants.” Marco cut her off just before she could conclude her sentence. “Sometimes I get to even tell myself that Cagna does not even know what she wants. Alessa was quiet for a heartbeat and then continued her state. “Isabella wants total control over La Corona Nera," she said, her voice low but steady. "She can never get that on her own. Not truly. So she needs me."

And standing at the center of the cameras, draped in a white wool coat that looked like a coronation robe, was Isabella. She didn't run to Julian. She didn't check for injuries. She walked straight toward me, her eyes narrowed into lethal slits. "Elara Vance," Isabella said, her voice loud enough for the reporters to catch. "I suppose we should thank you for... 'assisting' our Alpha during this unfortunate terrorist attack. Though it’s curious how trouble seems to follow you like a stray dog." She stepped closer, her scent of jasmine spiked with a sharp, aggressive note of challenge. She leaned in, her nose twitching.
