Jade had been gone for three days. No one had seen her. No one had heard from her. Not even the system had offered any updates beyond: “Cadet Jade Ishola remains in isolation. Training active.” But her absence lingered in the air. The reflection platforms still gleamed. The Selects still trained. Nyomei stood center circle, already five rounds into the day.
