Chapter 25 Nora's POV The weekend Mia’s friend, Jade came over was the first time the penthouse truly felt lived in. Jade arrived just after noon wearing oversized jeans, bright sneakers, and box braids decorated with tiny gold cuffs that clicked softly whenever she moved. The second Mia opened the door, the two girls exploded into laughter so loud it echoed through the apartment. “You actually came!” Mia shouted, throwing herself at her friend. “You thought I was joking?” Jade laughed back, hugging her tightly.

**Jade POV** I tried to find some clothes with a similar vibe to Elliott’s, hoping not to over or under dress. I ended up choosing some high waisted jeans and a black, lace tank top that caught my eye. I knew it was too cold to wear just this, but it was so pretty I couldn’t resist putting it on. I looked through the sweaters neatly hung a shelf over and chose a loose fitting dark red colored one that was open in the front so the tank top could be seen, but thick enough to keep me warm. I’d put my hair half back into a large black bow I’d found in the small basket of hair stuff in the bathroom, and threw a pair of fluffy moccasins.

Why did it have to be one-sided? {••} Gathering her wild curls, she braided them to the side of her head, not in the mood for straightening them. Najmah donned on a pastel cashmere coat over a white crop top then zipped up her favorite pair of black wash up jeans, looping a black leather belt over her waist. She emerged from the closet and head towards the vanity mirror, applying a layer of lipstick to her lips. She buckled her belt then pinned her hijab to her head, dusting her face with powder.

*** Later on, **** Amber and Heather just came over so we could all pregame and get ready. I decide on dark skinny jeans with rips in them, a blue long sleeve shirt with a v neck and a lace push up bra to show off the fullness of my breasts. I go with the same side braid that I have now come to love, a Smokey eye with nude lip-gloss and my Cowgirl boots.

Amarachi stared at Jordan, jaws dropped once his cap was gone. His hair was plaited. "You braided your hair!"She suddenly exclaimed. Jordan nodded with a chortle. His entire hair wasn't plaited just the frontals. It was braided, Bob Marley style, and left to fall whilst the other unbraided part was packed. The cap made it hard for her to notice it but now she did and Jordan looked so breathtaking.

Then I decide to style the up section into a braided crown. Once I am done with my hair, I put on the special underwear that Valerie got for me, along with the garter belt. I open a mind link with Valerie, “Val, I honestly hope that you and Haley are getting ready, I am about to do my make up,” I tell her, “Yes, Jo, we are almost done with our makeup” she replies. I close the link and sigh.

Maddie I stared at myself after I was done weaving my long chestnut hair into braids. Using my scrunchie I tag them at the end of the braid. Will Carlson love this? I found myself asking. Why do I have to do the things he loves? It should be Jamie dumpass.

We asked several times why we were being treated so, and received no answers at first, until one of the women styling our hair got tired of the questions and replied. “Rumors are that you girls are to be part of the prince’s harem. All of the Blood Shade’s Elite have harems of their own. You girls are lucky enough to be chosen to serve the legendary Derek Novak himself. That’s all I’m going to say, so you best shut your pretty little mouths up.”

A voice questioned. "Noo" someone whisper back. The voice are above whispers as they try to be subtle. "That guard dealt with her eeeh" one exclaimed They laugh shrilling, I try to tone them out. But there are annoyingly close. The curtain shifts open, turning my head shapely the action makes my head throb further. Long dark braids flows down, shape fierce feature towers over me with slender high cheeks bones. "I'm doctor Easter, I would be attending to you today" her voice is sniff, her expression rigid.
