CARLA I knew I shouldn't be running. However, the news I got from my mate made me do so. The doctor came with the result of the DNA test. And I couldn't help but be curious about that. I wanted to know. I stopped in front of Zurin's office door. But I didn't knock and just stood there to steady my breath and racing heart. Well, I didn't actually run like in my running session during training. It was merely a quick walk. Still, my mate would hate me doing so.

Perhaps, Irish thought, Ashley wanted to leave no stone unturned when it came to killing her today. Was this really a trap she'd enter and never come out?
